It sucks..
IT'S AWESOME!
they cut themselves with a razor i heard but dont quote me about it
seriously? i figured the ref would hang on to it til they needed it
i ticked awesome and i pay $350 for a front row ticket everytime they come to adelaide
Nah when I did wrestling we used to hold it in a hard plastic container, and you would try conceal it in your pants somewhere. Much easier if you wore big heavy cargo's like I did. But theres different methods, I think guys wearing the stupid tights would have them stashed on the ref or in the turnbuckle, and half the time noone bled anyway so there was no need to carry them.
I know in WWE because their show is currently aimed at the kiddies they currently have a big NO NO on blood before a certain part in the show.
It can get pretty brutal out there though, I know in training, they actually used to hit you with real punches and stuff so you knew how to take a punch/fake a punch and some guys were really immature, there were instances were we would accidently punch them, then the match started getting real. Happens quite a bit in Pro Wrestling such as WWE and TNA as well.

Yeah hes one of those blokes who wears those tight spandex things. Nowhere to hide the capsule/razor. If youve ever seen someone like Shawn Michaels bleed, hes an example of a razor user. When he bleeds his face is covered and it keeps pouring out of the cut.
WWE has some really bad camera angles sometimes, theres heaps of those videos out there. Its also pretty funny, watch when the punch hits. On WWE specifically whenever a big punch "hits" the camera angle changes so you cant really get a good look.
Yeah back when TNA first started they were a lot better, dunno if hes still there, but The Amazing Red was...well AMAZING.
If you really want to watch wrestling you cant watch WWE. That company, these days, its far to concerned with its public image, they have really started to tone down their programs so the big moves dont come out as often.
I think it was on Rob Van Dam's DVD (amazing wrestler by the way), he said that he couldnt do, what he used to do in ECW because WWE works you so much harder. They wrestle sometimes 5 days a week so he couldnt do the moves he wanted because they were always concerned about them being tired for the show the next day.
Another reason to watch the smaller shows like TNA because they pull out all the stops every night.
A guy I work with has a mate who wrestles.. he was cheering when he moved to Sydney cos the ACT league doesn't let people bleed (or something like that). So now he cuts himself all the time![]()
