I just feel that if I was a bloke, I would have recieved some more supportive replies. I hold a positive outlook on all aspects of life, if I can, perhaps if I was male a few more of you may have backed me up with even a "yeah its worth a try mate..."

Write your letter, hope for the best. - At the end of the day, you did something illegal, and regardless of if you were trying to help or stop to beat & rob the old lady, you still did an illegal U turn.

yes the cop could have been nice and given you a break, but he doesn't give a sh*t because it's not his problem, and you did the wrong thing. In his book, that's a ticket. - if you don't want a prick to give you a ticket, don't do anything for him to give you a ticket for next time.

If that fails - well then you've lost a whole heap of time and resources you could have been spending looking for work and arranging alternate transport.
