^ So how did we do exactly in $$$$ donations????
damn, fair effort, not bad at all.
I have to admit Cobez and Nanos and everyone else involved in organising (Sorry if I cannot remember everyone) have done an awsome Job and should feel very proud of what they have done.
Now I was wondering about the fricken map (List of directions) in the end I jumped on my GPS and it knew what to do, however not sure who they were but these guys in the car in front of me ended up organising everyone, I went over to them with my Melways a GPS and a dumb expression on my face, I went back to my car even more confused, then they seemed to pull us all through :P
From what Im told, there were 2 maps, an original and a revised, updated version. The wrong one was printed and handed out.
DannyboyDS, nice to meet you mate hope you ended up walking round![]()
im stoked at the turn out, and the behavour of everyone. thanks to all for your support
Sorry i didn't make it up to Cardinia, just went home, had a splitting headache and couldn't deal with driving with the sun blaring in my face with a headache.
Thank you to all who helped and almost $2000 if a FANTASTIC number, thank you to ALL who donated and showed up. Absoloutely fantastic!!

At least no one was following me that timenothing worse then leading 5+ cars the wrong way.
Blame Marcus (Dirbatua) for those directions lol.

glad u could come down mate, all that support was essentially for u! u know what i mean
nah, we lost a fence and allot of sleep, sorry mate, But I hate it when things don't come across in the correct context, more like I don't like it if I havn't been specific enough, I havefound all of my friends, we lost no lives nor anything that cant easily be replaced, who the support is really for are at the other end of the scale.
Although if anyone wants to ship some NO-Doz my way that'd be awsome all iv'e done since the fire is pull stumps out and clear the remainder of our property and do about a million tip runs.
Edit:
Just to note I met a friend of my sisters who lost everything he owned in chum creek and he had the best sense of humour he said to us. "If the fire comes back, come to my place, everything is allready burnt across 20+ acres so we will be safe there" what a fricken champ, thats the type of person I cruised for, the type that stands up, squares there shoulders and says lets get on with. it.

nar i do remember you saying all u lost was the fence, but u are still at the cold front seeing a massive wall of fire coming your way! i was more refering to the amount of cars for the causeshowing the support for all affected regardless.
I did say I wasn't there too, it was not knowing what had happened to mum and dad,
