    Default Posting large items

    I need some help. I've just sold some v8 headers and y pipe on ebay, and need to somehow post them up to queensland. From what I can guess, they would fit in a 1.5x0.5x0.5m box, and would weight 15kg or so, but does anyone know what company to use to post something like this? As far as I know, its too big for auspost.

    1995 Manual HSV Clubsport
    Wade Cam :: 9.2:1 CR :: Pacemaker headers :: Twin 2.5" Exhaust :: VT Brakes
    1991 Supercharged VN Berlina
    9 PSI SC14 Intercooled :: Genie headers :: Twin cats :: HM Twin 2.25 exhaust :: 3.45:1 LSD

    Whenever sending anything by AusPost never box it just wrap it really well in bubble wrap,shrink wrap & tape (unless its really fragile).

    The reason why is because if its not in a box they cant cube the item & charge you on weight + area,wrapped charges on weight alone saves a fair bit of money that way.

    Anyway back on topic...I've sent & received bits & pieces of car/bike exhausts through AusPost & theyve allways been able to post the items.

    Best bet would be go have a chat with your local AusPost.
