love tarago river triple cream.. hardly get it tho as its $50/kg. Aliso tilda vintage, mersey valley vintage, wotsonia, gouda vintage (think theres a trend developing here) all get the thumbs up from me. Not a fan of feta etc, haloumi is ok, boconcini is good in antipasto.
Tilba cheese is OK, been to the factory many times and its even better there cos tasting is free. Also on the south cost of NSW is the Bega factory ... where all there cheese is like half price, sometimes you can get a block for $1. Try eating a 250g block of cheese like an apple as you drive home from there ...
^^^ LMFAO at the above, reminds me of George.
"Do, da,da,dada - Believe it or not George isn't at home, please leave a message at the beep, I must be out or i'd answer the phone, where could I be? believe it or not, george isn't home"
I love Castello Blue. Mmmmmmmmmmmm.
Whoever said 'There is no substitute for cubes' had obviously never heard of Jet power

MY VY SV8 HBD http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...y-sv8-hbd.html
cracker barrel extra sharp tasty cheese is nice
not a feta or haloumi cheese fan lol and im greek
I'm a fan of Fetta, Ricotta, Double Brie, Camembert, Mozz and Egmont. And Grana Padano is good to cook with.
A hint to all you Mozzarella fans, if you like Mozzarella, you'll love Egmont. It's more got more flavour than Mozz, but it the same consistancy. It's freaking brilliant!

My chef friend loves persian feta. But I'm yet to try that, I don't really have a favourite but I do like marinated boccocini on things.
yea haloumi is pretty good, but saganaki and stilton are also pretty good, not to be out done is the good old roqfourt
Nothing wrong with plain old Kraft cheddar or Coon cheese if you ask me.
Camembert in party pies. OMFG! if you get a chance, try it! sooo good.. and i dont really know cheeses, i once had a cheese that smelt like my socks if i wore them for 2 weeks in a row... and it tasted... just.. like... the.. smell!
Financial Crisis? What crisis? Fuels cheap and so are parts. I dont see no crisis.
I once got sick on a old sailing boat and had to lay in the middle of the ship on the deck for the whole day almost dead just so I wouldn't spew. Then the special food of the day was parmesan cheese on EVERYTHING and the kitchen was right near wher I was laying, I wasn't happy
not being biased as im greek, but my fav cheese of all time is the kefalograviera. Its a hard cheese good for soups and pasta. I usually eat it with everything lol
I love it on a piece of crusty bread with olive oil and kalamata tapenade...mmm
