^^^ I'm in the same mind state... the human race has become a plague... they contribute nothing and take everything... if the human species disappeared tomorrow... it would be a good thing very every other species on the planet... lol

Did you watch The Day The Earth Stood Still recently? Damn that was a bad movie.

It is true though, scientists, astronomers etc are always predicting that the earth will be destroyed by the sun exploding or an asteroid hitting us or the black hole at the centre of the galaxy sucking us in and all that crap... But it's all so far away, the earth will be long dead by then. There's an article on damninteresting.com that quotes from a book from the 80s, a collaborative report theorising what would happen in the event of a nuclear winter. Sounds like our most likely demise to me.

Just as an aside, if anyone can get their hands on a National Geographic documentary called 'The Monster of the Milky Way', it's a decent one explaining the physics of black holes, follows the teams who were able to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the centre of our galaxy is a black hole. Pretty cool.

Why is stuff like that allowed on youtube? Makes me sad. But makes me happy that my cat lives in doors, never stepped a foot outside, has a bazillion scratch posts, bouncy balls and toys and no wankers can harm her.

The missus and i would like to get another family cat but are worried it will wreck our leather lounge by scratching it, does your cat scratch anything it feels like or just its post? we used to have a male tom cat named Whisky, was the best cat ever, would follow me out to go and collect the mail, and would sit outside with me on the veranda in the morning sun to have a coffee! was very clean and good cat, but one day he went out through the door (i don't know why) and got run over, was a ****ed day
He also never scratched anything in the house except for our floor rug wich was cool whereas my sisters cat that i was looking after wrecked the front of my home theatre speakers by sharpening its claws on the mesh grill anyway ever since that incident (and after getting our lounge) we are reluctant to getting another cat, but would really love one again!
Also OT that guy is just a looser, with behavior like that it makes you wonder if he was abused or something as no normal person should act that way!

Any decent person even those that eat animals would agree that you have to give everything some respect (except dodgy humans) I really think a rapid extinction of humans would be a good thing, I don't have any faith in my species anymore. We've just moved so far away from nature that it's breaking things deep in the core of our DNA and it's not going to get better

i love cats and most animals, (my missus is becoming a vet) but yeah, any cruelty to a animal thats smaller than them is ****ing weak, how about you go be cruel to a lion, see how well you'd do then!

CX get the cat when it is still a Kitten and keep plenty of water pistols or spray bottles handy, every time it does it, squirt it.

It's harmless to them but they learn, oh add a little viniger too, they hate it and they do learn quicker.
