got quite a few chickens out the back and we lock them up a night due to foxes . he have this big white sussocks rooster, he is like the size of goose.
well every morning we let them out and he usually wants to get sum nookie before he feeds in the morning (strange ? yes but its his attitude).
well this morning he chased this one hen for a far bit then gave up. saw another and started up chase. well he was going around a tree and he suddenly fell over and didnt get up. my old man rushed over to check and after a few wheezes he karked it. looks like a heart attack. bloody hillarious at the time but then kinda sad least he died doing what he loved.
He was only 3 years old and another rooster we have , we got in 1993/4 and as springy and chirpy as ever. god damned bantams
died on the job.... alomost.
