I got some really bulls*** news, i just found out thourhg my accountant, that a requirement other than having your tax in is you need to be OVER 18 AS OF JULY 30th 2008. Im absolutely effed off over this, i work, have been for ages, but im not 18 yet absolutely RANTED off about it, thought you guys might wana know about it and throw your opinion ou there..

2008???? or 2009??? If its 08 then I wont get it either, doesnt really phase me, I feel like a moocher enough as it is, since being out of work from Christmas.

The goverment want it to be spent on the economy, so wouldnt given it to younger people who wont save be the smarter idea lol.

The whole idea of the payout is people spend it and put the money into circulation. The Government dont want you to save it, they want you to go and buy grog and smokes, they want you to spend spend spend. So not giving it to the younger workers is plain stupid.

Sure theyd spend it on grog, last time i checked government makes money on grog and it keeps people in work. SUCESS!!

Sorry to say it blatently but imo f*** all you people that beleive that just because were under 18 that were just going to spend the $900 on grog / smokes / drugs or w/e, i dont even do any of the above! I may have a drink here and there at party but normally deso driver so to hell wiith you guys. We worked, we got paid, we paid tax, and just because im 17 not 18 i miss out? well f*** you mr rudd. Thats entirely 100% bulls****. I should be entitled to the same bonuses / consequences as any other person working in this country.
