Wisdom Teeth

OK I know this is an unusual kinda topic, but hey I'm an unusual kinda person so u get that

Who here has got their wisdom teeth, and how old are you? The reason I ask is because mine have just about come all the way through but atm one is giving me hell, hurts like a bitch. I'm 26 going on 27 soon and I thought I would be over this crap by now lol. Also do you think you are any wiser since getting them?

Just get em out. I had mine done a couple of months ago [age 23] and it was the easiest thing ever. Had more trouble from stubbing my toe. But I empathize with you, it can hurt like a biatch when they come all the way thru

I wish I got mine taken out, not much point now seeing as they are almost completely here now. I can see why babies/toddlers are such little little brats when they are teething now lol, must be agonising for the poor things. The worst thing about it happening now is I also happen to be pregnant so there stuff all I can safely take in the form of pain relief

Yeah, I have my wisdom teeth, I'm nearly 21 but my first one finished coming through when I was 18, hurt like buggery. The last one FINALLY came through about 6 months ago, but only because I was so fed up with the pain that I got a knife and cut the gum that was holding it back. 5 minutes after cutting it the relief was like nothing else you can imagine!

Moska, I'm only 8 weeks along so Its way too early to find out whether its a boy or girl yet, I'm not sure whether I want to find out anyway, I kinda like suprises and I didn't find out with my daughter. At the moment I am more concerned about fonding out how many babies there are, considering I have a 10% chance of twins lol.

David, the thought of taking a knife to my gums is very appealing at the moment but I could never do it, I'm too chicken lol. Were you completely sober when you did that?

anyway i'm 17 now and have got, wait for it, SIX OF EM (1 each side bottom, 2 each side top..)

ive only got the bottom ones coming through, bout half way there i guess, and im 20, almost 21. Just put up with em, the pain wont last. Have a beer :P

i had to have a tooth pulled out last year from the back of my mouth.then a couple of weeks later my mouth was still sore and i had what felt like bits of teeth coming out of my gum so i went back to the dentist who said it was my wisdom tooth coming through now its almost all the way through

39 and still losing and growing teeth

it is a weird kinda pain. i think i am mildly masochists cos i would bite down on hard objects to get the skin to break and get a whack of pain :s

they have been coming through slowly over the last year.

Ive had 3 of mine removed just havent had as much trouble with the last one for som e reason? hurts like a bitch for cpl days & then I think yeah Ill make an appointment & then it stops & I forget lol.

I got my first one when I was preg with my second too! couldnt take anything either & they wouldnt remove it either.

So I ended up getting them removed one by one & to top it off I have a small mouth & my wisdom teeth wanted to stay there! took 5 or 6 local shots in the gum each time & they ended up just doing it with me still feeling it! hhmm maybe thats why Im putting the last one off.... lol
