guy's and galls, i have a serious question and what could be a dream shatering drama
my wonderfull wife is at the moment attending uni, doing her degree of her dreams. i suport her with this 100% and im doing all i can to keep her in there.
the drama is that her classes are starting early, and cause we have a little child, (9 yrs old) her early classes arnt working for her.
can uni be done of a night time? can a full time course be broken up and done part time? what soloutions do we have,
day care isnt a option, it costs to much, full fee's will break the bank.
and baby sitting relatives arnt a solution, my parents arnt able to or willing to baby sit.

Im pretty sure most courses can be done part time, its sometimes dependant on what course it is and the particular Uni, I know of a few down in Melbourne that do it, its more often than not the more popular courses that are available in part time... Probally best her going and susing it out from the head of the department or something. Your kid is 9? If worse comes to absolute worse she might be able to defer for the rest of the year or something in hope that next year the kid could ride a bike to school or something if its the early morning getting him/her to school that is the problem.
yeah, that is the problem, getting little miss to school of a moring, now day and age it's not safe to have a little girl ride a bike to school, considering the wife heads out at 6am on some mornings to go to uni, we cant leave little miss at home by her self for that long.
i think she is going to speak to the uni 2morrow, or monday, but something deep down inside tells me that she has already given up and thrown in the towel, which is not what i want to hear, if i can come up with a solutuion then ill do what i can to keep her there.

Garth, i did mart of mine part time, almost every course is offered part time. Has she seen if the course is covered off campus also?

I'd imagine most unis offer courses online these days...I know my uni offers all their courses online. The only problem is that doing a course that way, you get bugger all support in my experience.
