Just letting all you pizza lovers out there know that Eagle Boys is handing out pizzas for $4.95ea through there website (some stores $5.50) until April 5.

IMO it is better than dominos and is certainly a decent deal,

i dont care how cheap it is, its still crap pizza.

if you want a good pizza, try Weird Pizza (Melbourne-ish areas like Richmond etc).
thats a damn fine Pizza and value for money.

A local restaurant used to have awesome pizzas. Real wood fire pizza's. Hadn't been there for ages until one day last year. I kid you not I was served a 6 inch McCain frozen pizza and was just like it had come out of the microwave. Biggest waste of $21 ever. Won't ever go there again.

Pizza Hut, Eagle Boys, Dominos... it's all pretty rubbish. Nothing like a real wog style woodfire pizza or even a home made pizza made from scratch.

omg. Domino's dosn't even bear mentioning. I had them once (used to go to a place called Big Daddys) and then dominos bought them out, so we tried em. Not only were they smaller, and more expensive, but they were the WORST pizza we'd ever had in our LIVES. Litterally disgusting.

Even piizza hut and all them aren't anything like what a pizza should be like. They remind me of plastic toys. They look good, yet don't bother eating them.

So havn't had pizza for a LONG time......kinda given up trying to find a place that is GOOD but reasonably priced. However, we usually go to a place called ferrari pizza, and they're pretty good but expensive though.

In Oakleigh? I used to buy my pizza's there when I lived in Oakleigh.. probably one of the best pizza places I've ever bought from, and I thought their prices were reasonable!

I go there when im visting people up there its quite nice for a neighbourhood place

but really.. if I want pizza there are only three places I go...

around the corner from my place, $10 pizzas - but theyre only the size of mediums

one is on lygon st and the average price of a large pizza is about $15

the other place is my all time favorite, although pizzas are quite expensive, but very very much worth it (at about $23-28 ech)

Im a wog, pizza's too important to me to go to places like pizza hut or dominos (plus I've been 3 times in my life, each time i was REALLY sick)

Which one on lygon st? Went to a Veneto place while I was in Melbourne last January (girlfriend is from that region). We ordered a prusciutto pizza and it was quite possibly one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten.

if you think that was a great prosciutto pizza... you need to go to the other one i was talkng about.. DOC pizza, its across the road from brunetti and on the corner (not grilled, the other corner) and get the prosciutto pizza there... they only use top quality ingrediants

Anyone ever tried an American pizza? We we in New York a few years back and at a game a Yankee Stadium I got a slice of pizza. One slice was nearly the size of my arm, cost nearly $9AUD and was the soggiest base. Dripping with fat and oil. Was disgusting yet so good at the same time.
