Hey guys,
Just wondering if anyone knows of a really secluded place in vic? I'm looking for a place to take some photos of my car, where no one will be around for miles...
Cheers

I read the title of this thread and thought "Yes, I do but I'd rather not be an accesory to murder..."
But serious, are you after industrial parks or look outs or?
Why does it need to be so secluded (sp)?

Heathcote raceway. Although no doubt you dont want to pay for photos of your car doing burnouts.

If it is for photos involving a model, middle of no where is stupid. How will you power light sources etc. Better off using a portable gazebo, tarping it off then you can run lights as you need them.
Although, im guessing its not exactly going to be a technical shoot.

What a pisser........ Thats all i can say on this thread. Good work
There's a few spots around the melb airport that are really secludedat night and provide good shots. There's also the boatramp in the williamstown area that is pretty secluded with a nice view of the bay if you stop on the ramp.
Other than that, i can suggest (from experience) to goto a local park or reserve where there's car spots right before security close up the place on a week day! Or even weekends depending on the weekend. If your doing the naughty though, just make sure you dont get caught, although it is a rush LOL
yeah, well night time there's a lot of places but photos won't come out that good at all![]()
i told ya i got the photos covered mate

Gonna be cold.....
Try Dromana?
Get a proper SLR camera and then use the long exposure mode. Or some normal digital cameras will do it too. Just grab a tripod! Makes some really good night time photos! There's an avatar on here of a blue VT (a ford mechanic, i think it's phoenix<man or something else>) that was taken around midnight. Some of the photos looked like it was just becoming evening because of the bluey colour of the sky it made, yet the sky was black!
If not at night, your going to have fun, i would take back everything i've suggested then. Try out on a dirt track in a hilly area with some nice trees? Im thinking besides asking a farmer that's as close as your gonna get.
careful tho, if you have to drive a long way to get there, the bonnet will be HOT, just like the pics.
