Need to know what this is called and how to kill it.
It seems that the more it gets massacred, the stronger it comes back.
It also seems to have the ability to sprout up where ever it pleases around the yard too.
Sick of looking at it so its time it goes.

Might sound like a stupid question... but have you chopped it down and dug the roots out?
My dad calls it a dunny bush.Cut it down and poison(undiluted) the stump straight after you cut it.
Not this particular bush, no.
the actual stump mass for this one is around 3 feet wide - its about 15 years old.
last time i chopped it backed to ground level and hacked the stump hoping it would infect it and kill it.
i did dig a few 'runners' out of the ground - one was 4 meters long heading for the fence.
I have sprayed another one with RoundUp but it didnt stop it at all.
Mystery solved.
It is Mirror Bush (Coprosma Repens).
20l waste thinners will fix it right up.
if you know a crash/paint shop they will give it to you for free.
cheers
RoundUp will fix it up BUT it has to be applied within 20 SECONDS of cutting it or else it wont have any effect to the plant - now thats hardcore.
Its a N.Z plant as well.
I have 2 tools for gardening - chainsaw and poison sprayer. What doesn't work with one usually works with the other. For the few that don't, use both
Reaper
It's called Shiny leaf, Coprosma repens

thermite heheehe
petrol
TNT
or chop it out and Rip out roots and them spry the ground
Protim will do the trick, drill a slight hole into the stump and pour some protim into it, and bang, she'll be gone in no time at all.
dont worry, il start a ride thread soon.
20L of acid?
Now this is what I know more than cars!
Yep the plant ID's are right on the money but to be honest it should dig out easy as. Sharpen the spade up and get to work.
If you are lazy, applying the roundup or glypho will be like weeing in the ocean to make the sea level go up.
Go get some blackberry, tree and woody weed killer. The product needs to have an active constituent called Triclopyr.
Apply it to the entire shrub and don't go cutting it back. The more foliage on it, the effective the result. The leaves will absorb this stuff and absorb it at an even greater rate if you mix a cap of seasol (it works far better than urea).
Spray in the morning so it has the entire day to absorb into the sap stream and be pumped through the entire system of the plant. Be careful of surrounding shrubs, so cover them with some tradies plastic.
Don't spray when it is windy and because the leaves are very waxy, two or three drops of dishwashing liquid will do to help your spray stick to the leaf (a surfactant) and be absorbed by the plant.
ive spilt like one drop of battery acid on a mass of vines it killed half of it lol so i say spray the whole plant with battery acid![]()
