Ok everyone,
I have just got my charger back from tim with some new additions, inside the charger tim has had grove machined into the pulley to reduce some of the whistle noise, which i must say is a cool noise although it was the only thing i could hear, now i can my exhaust note, very happy about that, so guys something you should look into , tim also tells me that it might get quiter cause im still running the new bearings in,

also i was given a very cool new Raptor Superchargers sticker, which isnt a normal sticker and u will see why in the pictures i put up, i think its a bit wobbly but its still cool ,

That TS valve you are running is not the one I recommend, however if it provides a clean dump as I suggest then its possibly ok, I guess you will find out. Make sure to screw the cap off a fair way to allow the piston to dump easily.

Otherwise looking good and that sticker comes up pretty sweet with a flash hey

tim. I thought the same about the valve before i bought it. But i was informed it will dump the same amount of air as the other ones.

the only other thing i may have to look at is the bosch valve im still running and maybe go something a bit bigger. Other wise its sweet.

which valve do you recommend Tim? that one looks like the new Vee port

yes that is the new VEE Port, the one tim says to use is the type 3 valve it is pretty big and u can either plum it back or go atmo,

the vee port is the same just atmo only,

lil update, photos soon to follow, but the raptor kits with a cooler make it very easy to do a line locky and grab 2nd and sit still with guards full of smoke . very happy

what u mean by line locky? as in a locker for the rear brake

so far mate its cost me 4 grand , thats everything , charger cooler, the lot, worth every cent

He bought Tuddles kit 2nd hand then added an intercooler

The kit I am currently offereing in the 2nd and specials thread at the moment will do all these things and its insanely cheap considering the massive power potential that is there

and yes i have to say its worth it, and if your a lil bit worried pay the small amount of 280 buck to get a rebuild for the charger then its like new again and goes awsome,

cant go wrong, will have some dyno figures after the weekend , and also i lined up against a VT L67 and beat it by about 5 car lengths down the 1/4 mile with massive traction problems , very happy with Raptor

sounds like a good deal tim, they are easy to fit as well then just take you computer down to chiptourqe , 795 dollars your all tuned to be boosting around

yeah so is mine iv been noticin latly tho that my ute had used a bit of coolant and when i had my cover of my plenum chamber it had a bit of oil in there??? from blowby from the rings i rekn?

yeah the plenums alwasy have oil, becuase they have a shit breather , so dont worry, and check your thermostat housing . mines had it and uses coolent
