Gday all, this is my Raptor VX s pac in the making, hope you like

Raptor V prostreet Supercharger kit
600x300x76 intercooler with 3inch pipe
OTR CAI
K&N pod filter
Mace 69mm Throtthle Body
Reversed Plenum
1.9:1's F.I.T Rockers

Exhaust System
Pacemaker Extractors
Single 2.5 Inch Lukey sports exhaust
2.5inch Hi-Flow cat
2.5inch Y piece

Interior
Getrag Billet shifter
VY SS sports pedals

Calais 3 window cluster with red facia
Calais interior light and country lights

Genuine CV8Z Monaro tail lights

MACE Pod filter box
Lowering -super low King springs all around

Remove wing from boot

Up grade window chrome to vx/vy Calais

Factory cat?????????

It is absolutely tragic, you would be unlikely to have any top end power with that there either, can kill power by at least 40rwkw ......everytime!!! That cat is a dog lol

Some of the muffs in that Lukey system may be a bit restrictive, dunno how you missed the cat warnings in the VS - VY thread. I also mentioned about exhaust being critical to V6 performance in the big Forced induction section for V6s in Street Comms mag last year too.

Do cat first, either go single 3" or twin 2.5 cats (1 per side)

You need to setup like my VY (see full thread on that) if you want same results. I used twin cats with VY HSV exhaust from cats back, that definitely works well.

I will repeat again here in this thread, ONLY the VY V6 series 2 has factory fited cats which are compatible for supercharging, all other models from VS - VY series 1 have the junk pancake cat (2 in 1 out). Pancake cat = high restriction

Once you get that all sorted, see how it feels, then we have the smaller pulley option that gives bottom end galore

Umm

No, the car will end up near silent like stock but with very high flow. Your inside sound system will then work 100 x better too . Good for highway but would be too quiet for flogging around town to attract attention with da chix hahha

The cat is actually close to identical if I recall from VN to VY series 1. Applies to all with the 2-1 cat - its definitely BAD


Brands - Not certain, I was lucky having the series 2, factory twins were perfect

Just wondering remember how i got the ONE BOV from you should a get another to replace the other one as well or will the bosch (intake side before AFM) on be fine to leave on?

MR VX your system should be fine with the big valve after the charger and one bosch valve before the TB, thats all i had and i was running 12 psi,

i pulled my dash out today and got the cluster out so i could get some LED's from Jaycar to do the conversion, they didnt have all the bulbs i needed, because i was gonna cheat and use the factory bulb holders, they had a few but they wouldnt fit back into the cluster, plus i pulled the headlight switch apart to get the bulb out, i didnt no there was 2 small ballbearing in it and i lost one so im gonna send it all to ASR Audio and get the to do it!

i currently have a 2.5in exhaust and was quoted $1300 to get another 2.5 in next to the current one and 2 hi flow cats. to me its not worth doing for the extra what few rwkw's? might just stick to the single and get 1- hi flow cat! not sure on what brand tho.

Thats what I would do, get a decent cat into that single pipe its enough mostly. Twin 2.5" kills the low end, this has been reported by quite a lot of my customers who have tried it. I only used twin 2.25" which is the best all round

well as an s pac with EF2 suspension i wanna lower it by about 2 inches. I THINK EF2 is factory 30mm's lower then standard plz correct me?????? so to lower it 2 inchs more i think i need the ultra low springs so i was thinking about buying this kit & get a 4 point camber kit! let me no what you think???????????

ok mate, well if your VX is series 2 there is no point getting a 4 point camber kit, because your car will already have the toe adjustment, all commodores from VX series 2 have it factory,
and yes your right about the FE2, get your self a set of pedders touring springs and shocks, they drop it just right and is still a nice ride,

u still need to get a 2 point camber kit, to adjust camber, but ur car should already have adjustable toe
