    I know there are a couple who could post about their machines in this thread if they choose to.

    I expect only a couple of posts in this thread apart from the one or two I will add.

    Post up your vehicle mods and dyno sheet if you have one.

    12PSI pulley
    450x300x76mm interoolcer
    3"alloy intercooler piping
    mace 1.9:1 rockers
    mace 69mm throttle body
    mace manifold insulator
    pacemaker 1-5/8 headers, 2-1/4 collectors into 3" stainless exhaust
    resulting in 252.5 RWKW - 338.6 RWHP
    i thinks that about i, i havnt got my dyno sheet on the comp at the moment.

    Got a dyno sheet on this? I hate to be skeptical but 252rwkw is massive for the mods you have and on a standard ecotec. What dyno was it done on? I had mine done on a mainline dyno and the only difference our cars have is i dont have a 69mm tb and im struggling to reach 200rwkw. If anything i want to copy your set up 100% to make this figure aswell!

    didnt u say u were loosing 3psi? so obviously setup isnt much good atm, i do have the dyno sheet and im pretty sure it was a mainline dyno aswell not 100% i lll c if i can get the dyno sheet up now

    the guys that are getting the big numbers seem to be the same guys that are showing a near zero loss through there IC setups............

    im in the middle of redoing my cooler set up, using thicker heavier duty clamps and shortening the piping as much as possible. It just blows me away how im losing 3psi and your losing like .02~!~ Looks like im back to the drawing board.

    This is why I will be going WTA intercooling. Similar ~0.02psi drop in boost. Very good figures!!

    I know it says V6 Ecotecs at top of the page,but iam just going to be rude and put my buick v6 in here.185.5 rwkw
    This dyno run was done with:
    A s**t gear box,non ids diff,stuffed heads with vavle bounce and powerdyne blower that was all so stuffed witchTim fixed for me.I have fixed all of above and im getting my last tune/dyno run later next week

    Dyno sheet yet? I have been looking into this some more and the more i look with the mods you have and a standard engine its almost impossible to get this figure. Now your selling it? I have a mate who runs a turbo v6 and @ 266rwkw hes running 17psi at 12psi its like 220 tops so i just dont see how this is possible and think that if your going to claim it you need to back it up but even then i dont think its possible with your set up.

    further more some figures tim has quoted in another thread late last year support my claim that your 252rwkw isnt correct.

    I guess with the toughest section its all about the dyno results, I put strip results in other post.
    I have a customer in Melbourne with a VY V6 - big cam, 9psi boost intercooled 241rwkw, stock bottom end. Manual trans
    Hoff from Street Comms has 325rwhp with ~11psi with cleaned up heads, stage 2 cam and intercooled, auto trans
    I have another customer in Perth, he had it tuned there, made 245rwkw with watermeth kit and some serious tuning. Motor mostly stock but excellent exhaust system.
    Another VU V6 auto from Adelaide with 224rwkw, totally stock motor, 11psi and Haltech with custom tune and cooled.
    All the above have high lifter rockers so far I know - various brands
    Rdtrippin - VS V6 manual sedan stock bottom end with Raptor generic tune and intercooler 11psi 222rwkw
    There are a lot of Raptor charged ECOTECs around 200rwkw and many are not intercooled. Will usually pull a couple of runs at high power before the heat brings them back a bit.

    I would like to make it clear im not saying you made this up as i cant prove that but if i were you i would go see the tuner as they either have a VERY happy dyno or have pulled BS figures to keep you happy.

    there was a few other cars dynod while i was there, an ls1 with a cam that made 270rwkw and a vs 355 which made 300 hp, i have the dyno sheet and a pic of it on my comp, to be honest mate i dont give a *** if u believe me or what you think really, i have nothing i have to prove to u

    Im just saying that if your going to claim you have 252rwkw with your set up and then sell it, its only fair to have the facts. and the fact is that its highly improbable that your engine and set up has hit this figure and that you either have a happy dyno or you have misread it. No need to get angry, this is a forum and im just voicing my opinion and so far all the facts i can find about other raptors points to yours having a BS figure. Its not about proving anything to me, at first i was impressed so i looked at my set up and what i can do to get such figures. The more you look at it the more improbable it is, is all a im saying.

    Even if i was not losing 3spi its not possible to hit those figures with your set up. As i said before yoyr tuner is either having a lend of you or he has a happy dyno. Your figures are off, and you wont post a dyno sheet but anyone with half a brain would know this figure for your set up isnt right and the fact you are claiming it as being true and correct shows your ignorance.

    Fabz you are just annyoed at these figures as you are not reaching anywhere near his.

    What hasn't been spoken about is the age of these engines and if they have been flogged or not. More info please?

    as everyone knows all motors a differnet and setups work diff to each motor all the time,, air temp and humidity, fuel quality, dyno tension and much more plays a big part in power readings, my vx made 280 when it first went on the dyno then the fuel reg got wound up and so did the power to 307rhwp, so yeah everything is left to luck

    It started tht i was annoyed as i have basically the same mods done to mine, i know this has started a shit fight but if anyone goes and looks at some of the V6's out there producing this sort of power they will soon see that its not possible. I wanted 200rwkw to start with and only got 190rwkw so i was like well this guy hit 60rwkw more than me with only a 69 tb and actually hitting 11psi (where as i could only achieve 9psi no ones fault so all good) so i looked into it more and the more people i asked the more people laughed at me and said its not possible, not on standard engine with those mods.

    This guys angry at me coz what started out with me wanting his set up has shown that his set up isnt as good as first thought and even with a dyno sheet produced i still would say its a happy dyno. For reference my car has done 142,000kms and i have owned it since 53,000 and it has been very well looked after hence why i looked into this. Went as far as to have a compression test done with no dramas when it only hit 190rwkw. My main goal if anything is to make aware that 252rwkw with his set up is impossible with out engine work be it cam or wat, straight out not possible.

    I would suggest that the reason tim hasnt posted another 250+ car as there isnt one, unless its a stroker or had engine work. I would like to make it clear this is nothing against tim, i respect the raptor brand and have stuck by it when people told me it was better to turbo my car so in no way am i saying raptors cant perform. My does perform. Just at a level i like with out all the engine work............for now. I cant speak for tim so he will have to post his own thoughts. SO no use getting angry at me psivyv6, what started as me telling you i think you have a happy dyno / tuner has turned to you making it personal which either i have caught you in a childish lie or your ignorant for not excepting facts when presented to you in plain sight.
