Hey guys. I got a powerdyne charger that was rebuilt from you guys at raptor. Apperntly its got all the goodies and it cost the guy abit to do. Apperntly can run 7 to 8 psi?. Is this corret. Got all kelvin stuff in it if that sounds femilliar?
Hey Tim what parts do you have for the Powerdyne superchargers? Do you have any of the billet impellers left??
VT V6 fitted with DMS gold 40mm coilovers, Whiteline adjustable swaybars & strut brace, 330mm AP racing brakes, Rebuilt 3.45:1 LSD and a Powerdyne supercharger
Check it out: http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...-v6-racer.html
Kelvin or Kevlar? lol
I don't have any Billet Impellers in stock, my advice is buy them direct from 928M/S as the dollar is very high presently. I can supply it though if you have reservations about purchasing online
Tutty - I have rebuilt many, I cant always recall a specific case unless it is highly unusual. It will have the Optibelt Omega B belt (not Kevlar) and any other adjustments it needed to perform well.
Does your car have an intercooler?

I do this off my iPhone so it Spelt it like kelvin.
I read it over and couldn't be bothered changing it lol
Well I havnt got that fair on installing it just yet. But it had a impeller upgrade. Belt upgrade and bearing upgrade. I don't know the guy who got it rebuilt so I couldn't tell you who.
And I won't be running an intercooler as I don't have any room between my radiator and bumper >.<. Was thinking maybe running water to air intercooler. Or just direct feed. Because with a cam the charger can only pull 5 to 6 psi if I'm correct?
UPDATED: AUGUST 2011
I have 2 options for Powerdyne rebuild kits now:
1. Ceramic high speed shielded bearings + belt for $180
2. Ceramic high speed sealed bearings + belt $320 - longer life for bearings and less noise from bearings.
Both are plus Post

Hi Tim. I also have a powerdyne blower that has decided to destroy the impeller after many years of faithful servive. I have read the thread and done my research and think my best option is to purchase the impeller from 928 motorsport and get you to do the rest. There is a fair bit of ground alloy inside the intake of the blower (i believe the intercooler saved the motor) and am not sure if it is beyond economical repair. I would like to send you some pictures and have you asses it before i go buying parts. Would you be ok with this? Do you still offer the rebuild service?
Regards Sam

Yes, yes and Yes
You buy the impeller in
Drop charger to me for appraisal
Yes we can normally recover gouged housings easy, costs a bit but the results are usually better than new

Alright cool, the more i look at it the less damage there is. I will go ahead and but the impeller and let you know when i'm ready to send it off. Cheers.
All GO
Hey mate do you do the tensioner setups to suit the powerdyne systems on 304s? I am chasing one down and had no luck at this time??
Cheers
