    Default Fuel Economy after Supercharging

    Hi,

I know its the least of anyones worries when wacking a blower on but Im just wondering if anyones worked out their fuel economy after putting a raptor kit on. Preferably buick engines as thats what I have but any comments appreciated. Not too worried about when your giving it a boot full but just sensible driving figures.

I have a factory spec rebuilt VP V6 and with sensible dirving I achieve about 10l/100km thats with 3.9:1 diff gears.

i dont no what ???/100km i get but in my vx it doesnt really use stuff all more when its driven normal. but the more u flog it the more its going to use. Why get a charger if you now wanna put around in. charger + fuel = power

check the Raptor VY project thread. he's got alsorts of figures in there. however i'm fairly certain that normal cruising is really no different to factory figures but with all the fun of having a blower strapped to the side

Yeah thats what I was thinking which is another benefit of the centrifugal type, not alot of boost below 2500rpm so not much extra fuel at lower revs
