Intercooling

Hi,

if you have a raptor fitted V6 or some other brand of charger and need an intercooler kit, i can generally supply and fit a kit out of stainless for $1500 or less.

I can supply any size cooler, there is the option of the standard srew driven clamps or the heavy duty T-bolt S/S clamps , any colour silicone. I only use mandrel bends NO SILICONE bends for the best flow.

Tig welded construction and polishing is also available.

In progress is a VS ute, we will be fitting a reverse plenum due to the tight space of the VS engine bay, but that comes with a win for less pipe and less bends again. all flowed through a 400x300 intercooler, big enough to do the job with out taking up to much room,

the ute is booked in early next month, then it will off to QR for some seriously boosted drifting the owner tells me.

I just fitted a small air filter to it and put it out of the way. I think it's a crankcase breather or something.

Its ok to fit a small breather filter to it, ideally it should be connected to intake so the AFM can measure all air going into motor

We used part of another bend to make the pipe head in the right direction,, julian was worried about seeing welds so we left them there, it could have been ground back polished to appear as one piece,

I have come across some tight bends so the charger can remain in the original position now, so the pipe to the TB will be able to come along side the charger and sit more striaght.

Not a real problem in my case, I didn't want another nipply bit put on the piping, because metering won't be a problem soon as I'm going MAFless.

Something you might want to check on your future kits is that the breather hole on the raptor pro street intake pipe is drilled through, not just welded on. Mine wasn't.

got a recent report from julian that his cooler kit is reading 10psi with the 10psi pulley . pretty well no boost loss,

Has it been measured before the cooler?

yeah at the manifold as far as i know unless julian has changed it . i dont think he has measured it before the cooler, its only a 10 psi pulley so it produce much more than 10 on a good day
