    Default intercooler kit

Hey Guys just wondering how easy it would be for me to make up my own intercooler kit using a reverse plenum and this kit on ebay

Universal intercooler piping kit 2" 2.25'' 2.5" 3" 3.5" - eBay Other, Cooling Systems, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 26-Jun-10 13:26:28 AEST)

i know i might need a few extra piping and probably will have to cut some of it down but has anyone ever done this b4?
    thanks

hey dude if u are handy with a welder the reverse plenium aint that hard to do, i as for the piping if u dont have abs it will make a job much easier, if u want u can have a closer look at my vs to see how i got my set up running. good luck, make sure u put the air flow meter the throttle body side of the cooler

nah i was just going to buy a reverse plenum ready changed and go from there. yeah i dont have abs so there's plenty of room on that side of the engine. yeah mate it might help to have a closer look at your car so i can see where you ran the piping. i'll have to get another bov too and moving the maff will be easy enough.

Talk too, Raptor Charged VX, my VS Ute is in his shop right now and his work is outstanding and very fair price. I am doing reverse plenum as this is the only way to fit it without cutting guards, etc

Well only one hole was needed on my setup for the whole job. The crash bar had to be modified a little bit though...

Nah I'm from Tenterfield, a little town 4 hours from Brisbane. I came up a few months ago and got Trent (Raptor charged VX) to do my intercooler piping, and replace a water pump for me too. There's 2 threads on mine, the pictures in the start of Trent's intercooler piping advertisement are of my ute, plus i have another one in the raptor section called "The Silver Fox - another raptor charged utility."

As for that kit you were looking at on ebay it's alloy pipe isn't it? Trent is a stainless steal fanatic - all my piping is 3" SS along with a custom coolant overflow bottle he also made up as the standard overflow had to be relocated.
