Default any used a unifilter with a raptor blower?

at the moment i have a K&N pod and was wondering has anyone used a foam unifilter on there blower? might sound stupid but being a soft foam could the charger suck to hard and suck the foam through?

I think you'd be right, but wouldn't that be introducing a decent sized restriction in your intake?

Oops sorry, i thought you meant one of those panel uni-filters. Well is the uni-filter one bigger? If so then it probably should suck air a bit easier. 4" intake piping also helps with reducing restrictions too.

    Post Unifilter on Raptor

I have recently order a shipment of "stripper" filters from UNIFILTER that slip over the supplied SAAS filter element

Anyone operating in dusty conditions or in a normally dry climate might want to consider this option for ulimate engine protection.

It takes a lot of filtering load off the pleated cotton filter and is easier to clean as well as providing a second barrier of defense against dust.

I have been trialling this arrangement on my Hilux for the last 2 months, filter looks brand new and its been very dusty of late

Price will be roughly $32.00 ea inc gst
