hey sounds alright...welcome...![]()
Firstly my name is Tim, thanks for JustCommodores for the opportunity to be part of the forum.
For many of you it won't be the first time you have heard of Raptor Supercharger Systems and some have seen mention of us on other forums or even come across a car/ute with a Raptor System fitted. www.raptorsc.com.au
The unique feature of Raptor is the V series supercharger which is significantly smaller than any other supercharger in its class yet it has enormous flow capabilities making suitable for small capacity engines and V8 5 liter engines alike. You can read more about the V series which is used extensively in all Raptor supercharger systems http://www.raptorsc.com.au/products.php
We have complete supercharger kits for V6 commodores from VN - VT and also completing tuning for VU, VX, VY V6. Intercooling FMIC is standard in all the Stage 2 systems.
We are considering development of V8 kits for the 304ci (5L) engine in all commodore models which featured this engine.
Currently we have a prototype Gen3 kit fitted to a CV8 Monaro which is showing considerable promise, it will be offered in several stages without and with intercooling. Will provide dyno charts outlining the performance of this system soon.
So just to recap
Supercharger Systems (kits) for
V6 3800 and Ecotec
VN, VP, VR, VS, VT, VU, VX and VY (VN-VR 140 - 200RWKW) VS-VY 180 - 220RWKW
V8 304
In design and prototype phase now
Gen 3 LS1 5.7
CV8 Monaro, VT - VY SS, Clubsport. Kits in limited production
History
Raptor Superchargers began the actual development phase in 1996 for a compact high performance centrifugal supercharger, there was a long phase of design and testing before the first sytsems were released into the market place. Supercharger systems for Mitsubishi Lancers were first offered in 2002 providing lots of go for a small car. Over time Raptor has progressed into successfully applying Raptor V to many vehicles including the extremely efficient and powerful V6 Holden kits. Raptor is now in 3 countries worldwide and more to come.
We look forward to interacting with the Just Commodores Forum Community well into the future.

Latest news is that the Raptor website now has a gallery of images which we will try to add to/update on a weekly basis.
Some new Gen 3 images here http://www.raptorsc.com.au/viewgallery.php?cid=2
And the general gallery is here http://www.raptorsc.com.au/viewgallery.php ...... enjoy
We also did our first trade show this last weekend at Rockhampton, can't recall seeing any Just Comms members there but if you were then you would have seen our Gen 3 kit on CV8, VS kit on VS ute and LEXUS kit on Soarer V8.
Was a top show and we guess best regional show in Qld.

hey raptor,
just wondering, i looked on your site, but didnt see anything, so just wondering if you have a kit for a BA XR8 yet?
Charg'd
Been considering lately that we have nothing for the Blue Oval camp yet, its difficult to determine the level of interest when we work with the Holden product so exclusively.
We are going to be getting a BA 6 cylinder set up first we think and XR8 coming sometime (unknown) after that. We know the six will respond with big outputs and the Raptor V will quite happily fill the lungs of the 5.4 all day long also.
If you know more people wanting to charge their Fords then get em to send us an email, it will get us moving on kits for them much sooner.![]()

Anyone been seeing Raptor in the Magazines lately? You would have spotted a section in Street Coms mag in the Talk Converter section a few months ago and also in latest Street Machine which contains a V6 tuning guide for VN - VR.

Yep, saw that mention in Street Machine...Becoming much more renowned now days mate?
Good publicity for you. You should start getting some ads in those mags now, would do wonders.
Also in latest Street C again in the issue released this last week. Its in "off the street" section. Haven't seen it ourselves but a customer let us know.
We will be advertising soon, have been laying low as sales have been good but was low on materials so couldn't wind things up too much. Good news is as of last week it is all systems go and we will be able to handle increased business no problem. Plenty of components in stock.

We would like to wish all people a very Merry Xmas and Happy New Year from the manufacturing team at Raptor Superchargers.
Especially so we like to thank those who purchased systems and are loyal supporters of the Raptor brand. Throughout 2006 some of you have achieved amazing results from your systems well above and beyond our advertised ratings.
2007 is going to be a big year with many "special events" things already locked in. The VY will be supercharged but demand for V6 kits up till March is very high so at earliest we think Feb might see the VY get its air shot, the results should be class leading as usual unless we are let down by something unexpected.
Merry Xmas and New Year![]()

We delivered first charger for VZ V6 application this week, will be a little while before all fitted up and going. A couple of small things that need further consideration but otherwise it will be a completed deal in Feb. We sold the charger to a company who are manufacturing the kit for themselves, so yeah it would then become more widely avaiable. That company already advertise in Street Comms so I am sure when they have the kit proven and ready you should be able to access it easily.
Can update you further if you like

I'm interested in a kit for my 2006 V8 Landcruiser. I have checked your web site but I could not see any photos that clearly show the Raptor Supercharger fitted. How many Landcruisers have you done.
Cheers.
