Why choose your kit over the Powerdyne Stage 2 kit?
|
The Raptor V in stage 1 form (ProStreet) is firstly an ultra neat single belt drive (no machining needed to fit an additional crank pulley), far easier to fit, offers a charger with 11psi capacity (the Powerd*** is rated to 9psi only), offers a very good generic tune(MEMCAL), new 36lb injectors (as opposed to stock injectors and an RR FMU), auto belt tensioning versus manual adjust etc etc etc, the differences are too numerous to mention them all. And to boot the Raptor system is cheaper if you go by web pricing.

And how would you compare your kit to the Vortech Stage 3 kit offered by .....?
|
The 2 biggest differences here is the Vortech can produce more than 11psi boost comfortably (Raptor limited to 11psi) and a Raptor stage 2 is an intercooled system FMIC or recommended to be configured as such. All customers have been organising their own intercooler systems and we provide the higher psi pulley and tune to match (stage 2). It works out cheaper for them and gets a better power result than any unintercooled kit no matter how high its stage number and you get all the easy life features mentioned in above paragraph as well!
Typically you can buy the Raptor Stage 2 kit (no intercooler or piping but with higher psi pulley and tune) get your own FMIC (450mm x 300mm x76mm)$200, have your piping done $1000 and still come in under $6700, compare that with the unintercooled stage 3 pricing of the system that you mentioned above. It is well known you can't go far without intercooling and water injection doesn't measure up to FMIC for convenience or performance. A stage 3 system in the configuration as advertised is unlikely to outperform any unintercooled stage as it will be limited by detonation/fuel quality around 10psi.
We are certain we are giving you a better deal on all counts, only thing is if you want very high PSI then you need the Vortech, no question.
Hope that provides some of the detail you were expecting.
