This thread needs a bit of life in it, some good kits we put on the 3800

This engine is pretty good, runs 12psi in the manifold or a bit more, intercooler etc

In this vid its changing between 2nd and 3rd and keeping the 2 donuts hot

Not taken by me, nor was I present but was informed of its existance today

Had a call from a very pleased customer (Tom) in Brisbane today - he has a VR auto with a fresh motor but nothing over the top.

He bought the basic kit and then added a PWR 400hp WTA intercooler "kit", took this to the dyno at Chiptorque, made 300rwhp/220rwkw at 12psi manifold pressure. NO PRESSURE LOSS WITH WTA even with 2.5" pipes!!

To be honest I don't know now why ATA coolers are so much the flavour, we had a customer a couple of weeks ago with an AU Falcon 4.0 with WTA and decent cam do 268rwkw/357rwhp on 10psi!!!!

Another successful setup with a very pleased customer.


PS its also the best result I have seen from a PWR barrel kit, much better than I would have thought!

The install is "different" but could probably be done in another way, however it WORKS real good

Stage 1.5: 160RWKW - 170 RWKW, no internal engine mods. Boost pressure 7.5 - 8.5psi

Stage 2.0: 185RWKW - 200 RWKW, internal mods not needed and boost pressure 11psi.

I don't even know if its going to, this car is being groomed for magazine action and I think anything that would risk its perfect appearance in the slightest will be avoided until some time later in its life.

Makes around 330rwhp with small size intercooler pipes which are restricting boost to 9psi.

yeah its an awesome engine bay. on youtube it said he is getting more interested in racing it. us raptors need to get into the 12s more often lol very possible with the raptor (with the right setup).
