A mechanic is probably going to take 4 -6 hrs since its his first go at this.

If he is working at $80/hr then $320 - $480 to fit it

Stage 1 for VT is $4995

It has quite a few bits and pieces

High lift rockers, extractors, decent exhaust, low boost (large pulley) Raptor supercharger, intercooler system, MSD coils, a link computer with custom tune (any custom tune brings out the best of the supercharger system) and I think some MACE manifold/plenum spacers.

Gearbox almost stock auto and diff is stock exec diff. Motor is a couple of hundred thousand km old as well and never opened for anything other than rockers.

Feel free to ask Chris in the SEAGULL thread on Street Comms if you like. In the very first post its all listed.

From here its more boost and retuning and and and, so much that can still be done.

There have been a lot of new people experiencing the quality of the Raptor kits over the last 2 weeks, many will pop up here and there around the forums.

VSUtey from SC forum pulled near 200rwkw from her basic kit last week, thats a top effort for a girl who fitted the kit herself.

Another lad from Brisbane Commodores pulled 222rwkw from his intercooled VS sedan and then went on to make a 13.3@104mph quartermile on low boost. He is going for the high boost pulley and I think there could be a high 12 waiting for him.

Got a VT manual kit out (quite rare) and I think it should make good numbers at the dyno, the tune in that instance is a chiptorque tune specially created for the rare manuals.

SEAGULL on street comms is going higher boost as well and providing the auto is going to work ok he will run in the lower 13s, I would expect to see around the 230rwkw maybe from it.

All the examples mentioned above are stock internals with plenty kms on them in most cases.

The Raptor VY has recieved a boost increase and hopefully will be measured again in the next week or 2. Going extremely hard now and more satisfying than ever
