    Default Kit Fitment

    The kits are not difficult to fit, if you have a well equipped toolbox and maybe a mate who is good with tools and has some experience you will get this on the car no problem, however if you had more confidence in having a mechanic do it then by all means do that.

    You are correct about the Super 6 having a different fuel pump although all Raptor kits have been fitted to cars with Original Equipment pumps and 99% of the time they are perfect.

    The kit contains things like (but not limited to) new injectors, new set of iridium sparkplugs, supercharger brackets, supercharger, polished alloy piping, new air filter, boost gauge, CBV BOSCH, tuned ECU etc etc etc etc. There is much. Only thing we would ask you to do on your VY is replace the fuel filter so max fuel flow is available.

    thanx for the information raptor now i just gotta get the money together and walla ill probably order one over the net if i can and get it freighted to me direct. But that maybe a month or two yet.

    Congratulations on the baby Raptor, I will probably be looking into a supercharger for my VT next year sometime, just wondering what kind of mods now will be beneficial to me when I do eventually get it.

    Default ECOTEC with Raptor ProStreet Intercooled

    Here is a customer chart from Perth in WA. Really nice torque curve and strong power.

    Customer actually installed an intercooled supplied by us and used 75mm tubing for an excellent low pressure drop result.

    I have a 96' vs acclaim v6. The car is stock except a red back exhaust system.
    It's done around 225,000klms.
    Questions -
    -The engine is running fine and have not been rebuilt so it is it safe to run a 1.5 stage kit in it??

    How much is the 1.5 kit??

    I'm in VIC so how do I purchase?? (Freight costs) sorry dumb question!!

    Am I expecting high labour cost if I get a mechanic to fit it for me??

    Dang, that's WA VX is producing an incredible amount of power !!

    306rwhp ... that's right up there in V6 Power Outputs

    Great to see it doing so well with even more potential with further exhaust upgrades !!

    Hey Tim, as I said a while back, I'm in Mackay too.
    I'm looking at a stage 1 for my gf's VT, but curious how it would go with the heat/humidity we have here. i will get the intercooled kit if money allows (gotta finish my VR engine first).
    also. who does you custom tune on your VY? i noticed LS1pro logo on the dyno slips, but i thought they only do 8's?
    edit: also keen to see the boosted stroker in action... could you PM me next test&tune???

    You are right in that heat and humidity takes the edge of anything boosted, even if its diesel! One thing tho is Raptor kits a tuned for high temp operation and therefore are very reliable in our location, all testing is done in Mackay pretty much!

    LS1 Pro will do anything that is Holden that needs a Raptor, so V6 is no problem there.

    The custom tune for the VY is not yet done but will be contracted to ChipTorque on the Gold Coast/Townsville.

    Boosted stroker is still not a runner yet, the customer and mechanic must be waiting on transmission parts from what I can understand, will let you know when its a goer

    That VX is fitted with a VT computer and is therefore easily tuneable with KALMAKER.

    Hi Raptor,

    I have been following the progress of your supercharger from afar for quite some time now, and have been pretty keen to do something with my VX.

    After reading with great interest on the project VY, im pretty keen to do the same. I am currently overseas and have the vx in storage, but will be returning to live in Brissie around mid way this year, and looking at starting to do a few mods to the car. The warranty has expired well and truly now, and time for the fun to begin.

    My car is an NA VX S2 V6 auto with about 44000 kms on the clock. I was looking at first upgrading each system separately so as to gauge the improvements, ultimately ending in the supercharger. I should be in Brissie end of feb and pretty keen to come in and see what can be planned come mid year.

    Any chance you could pm me some details of cost on the 1.5 stage also.

    when i send u my ecu does it come back fully retuned so as i can put the kit on while i dont have an ecu and when it comes back to me i can just put it in and drive away ???
    sorry about all the questions i just wanna make sure everything is proper b4 i do it.

    1. Stage 1 ProStreet is $4995 and comes with MEMCAL and every other bit and piece to get your car going (~185RWKW) like you want it to. I will PM you stage 1.5 if you like

    Juzz interested in ur 1.5 intercooled kit prices and also im running dual fuel, iz it simply tuning tha ecu to handle tha different air fuel mix or that lp gas doesnt handle boost all too well? thnx m8!

    Twin Turbos

    I know nothing about the LPG setup on your car, but suffice to say its extremely unlikely to work in conjunction with boost, LPG is a great boosting fuel but you need the right gear.

    Does being able to run the LPG or not determine whether you boost or not?

    sorry to force the hand, what sort of internals u reckon i would need to run more boost say round the 14 psi mark ???
    would i be able to use internals from the stock super6 ???

    L67 internals are just fine for that amount of pressure, plenty of them running much more, tuning is always the key to longevity tho.
