Bit of news for this thread

I have Dyno charts on the way for a 4.2stroker ECOTEC in a VS

Power is said to be 392rwhp or within a whisker of 300rwkw, owner says it's a serious weapon.

Boost levels, it's a LOT higher than I recommend and yes he does burn a belt out once a year but it's over 14psi in this case.

will the cooler sit up behind the bar, hidden?
and how much of a whine does this supercharger make.
what is recommended to do to the engine when installing this product,
and also a price fitted to my 3800 vy commodore.

As from today

All VS - VY Ecotec kits now ship with the Raptor V - L supercharger. This revised model features light weight internals - the weight of the rotating components has been reduced by a full 20% which is corresponding into much faster engine acceleration.

I believe customers who end up with one of these on their vehicles will find the can achieve results in acceleration, quartermile and possibly on the dyno that are superior to what has been acheived previously.

Very definitely, I can 100% replace the internals and update the ID tag on the charger - you will then have a genuine L version

I have supplied 1 ECOTEC customer with this combo and he confirmed immediately that engine response was more crisp and charger seemed to deliver urge a bit sooner due to having less weight to spin up
