sorry shouldve given more info ive got a factory installed impco lpg system running dual with the factory petrol system, all the items in the system are top of the line. I was mainly wondering because i heard that supercharging does run well with lpg systems but the only system i saw was on a carburated engine~

Ive decided to go boost, seems a bit of a pain in the arse on my vx so prob juss do it on my vr~

OK, the only LPG system we have seen used in conjunction with Raptor Systems are Melbourne made GAS RESEARCH brand carbs and convertors, was very successful. I have seen IMPCO used but can't comment on it.

With the VR ...... shouldn't be so hard hey

Had a customer with VT with Raptor ProStreet non intercooled call us today, he has had his kit a good while now, not sure who was most suprised (him or us) but he pulled 283 RWHP or 212 RWKW at a shop in Brisbane!!! Definitely our record for the most power from our most basic kit!! He has ProStreet, FIT 3" exhaust, FIT 1.97:1 rockers and nothing otherwise different to stock.

Sure worth thinking about will be suprised if its not close to or exceeding 300RWHP in nearly all instances

We are doing just the ProStreet for now and then the intercooled step next, would be a few months later.

On the subject of his boost, same as all other Raptor ProStreet kits for ECOTEC, which is 9.5-10 psi.

VY Low

We can't recommend 16psi on stock ECO bottom end, thats a lot of pressure by anyone's standards for a stock motor even with some decomp.

With cooler and an excellent tune and those head gaskets, 12 psi would be the absolute max for reliability, and I am talking long term reliability with everyday use.

If you want 16psi a rebuild with strong parts (maybe just an L67 bottom end) and select a brand of supercharger suited to high pressure (14-25psi) operation.

Plug and play

You got it right, you send us the ECU and the calibrations are performed and sent back to you, you plug it in and .......... play

Always recommend having check on the dyno to be safe.

Plug and Play ProStreet (Stage 1) available real soon

Plug and Play intercooled (Stage 2) available 3 weeks later

Choose which excitment level you want and the rest is easy street.

Hey man it's tadgh here, i got one of your kits for my vs late last year, then dropped you that e-mail about the 2bar sensor and rising rate regulator and you explained how it all worked. I was just browsing your site then and noticed that you run a 2bar sensor with the old 3800 v6's but not the ecotec. Just out of curiosity why is this?
Also notice the vy coming along very nicely indeed! Does that mean us VS owners can pull the same kind of numbers with a bit of tinkering?
