I notice that the stock Holden super 6's weren't available with manual transmission. How does the Getrag 5 speed handle the extra torque from stage 1 and 1.5 kits?

The Getrag is fine until the intercoolers go in then it can suffer from the immense torque but only in rare cases, others seem fine, got a feeling its more driver related.

heres what a stage 1 raptor kit gets with a car that has only got an exhaust, and extractors,

future mods are set of rockers, intercooler lsd, **** kit, and retune.

Have you got a pic of the exhaust system, a good pic from back of extractors to rear of car should be enough. Would like to see just how it looks, normally can manage some more than that from the basic kit. Are you running 98 octane fuel?

umm trust me u dont wonna look at the exhaust, sadly some tool decided to throw a plastic bag out his window infront of us, we couldnt dodge it and now its slowly melting on the exhaust ill get u a pic in the next couple of days once i clean the remains of that bag off, not sure what fuel my bros running should be 98

by looking at the dyno sheet going over 120kmp/h it is running a little lean, you may have to look at the fuel pump/injectors later on

yeah hopefully when you get that fixed the results should be better.
The dyno operator saw that the A/F ratio was going up so he stopped it at 120kmp/h

Not sure yet but have heard today so far at the Street Comms dyno day in Adelaide that a VU V6 with Raptor kit ran 220rwkw, possibly enough for him to take home the trophy

Yeah it got a twin 2.25" (i think) reback system, straight bolt on.

And had there been trophy's he would have taken them home, apparently there weren't any which is different to normal at least in Qld.

Well done mate and the VU is gonna be taken to the limit so anyone wanting to see the absolute max power from a Raptor system keep an eye on Chris's thread, this is just the start
