Below we spell out what the different kit stages can do


Stage 1: NO ENGINE WORK NEEDED OR RECOMMENDED. Complete kit with 8 - 9psi boost pressure will give 180RWKW +(if everything is in ok condition) and with little mods like 1.97:1 rockers, 2.5" extractors and decent exhaust system stage 1 can get up to 205 RWKW under optimum conditions. Kit is totally complete including MEMCAL. Low - Mid 14 second quatermile potential for VS and a bit higher for VT on account of extra car mass

Stage 1.5: NO ENGINE WORK NEEDED OR RECOMMENDED, same as above but including Front Mount Air To Air intercooler 450x300x76mm. 200RWKW+ (depending on condition of car). Manifold boost pressure will fall by 1 - 1.5 psi. Low - Mid 13 second quatermile potential VS and again a bit slower for VT on



The suggested quartermile times for Stages 1 and 1.5 have been achieved (VS ute belonging to customer, driven by customer)

To give some idea of what can be achieved from a stock ecotec with and also if you add some 1.9:1 rockers


The First chart is for a VT sedan (auto) with extractors and 2.5" exhaust only

The second chart is for VT (auto) with FIT rockers, extractors and FIT 3" exhaust fitted. This particular car had a failing auto trans at time of test but still pretty ok numbers.

The third chart is a VS ute with 1.8:1 YT rockers, pacemaker headers and decent exhaust and with Stage 1 Raptor system

This post will show quartermile times for VS ECOTEC, 5 speed manual ute.

1. A stock VS ute with extractors and exhaust

2. Same vehicle with Stage 1 Raptor kit

3. Same vehicle with Stage 1.5 Raptor kit (only thing different to stage 1 is the FMIC)

It would be possible to achieve better/lesser results than we did, so much depends on driver, track conditions, driveline condition etc etc.

I guess it is, would be some fiddling and I think the main issues lie with fuel enrichment on boost during the LPG driving phase. If that was properly sorted then I could see no reason for this to not be possible.

Here we go again, Tuddles thats all Tuddles. Tuddles had 276 rwhp and ran the 1/4mile on slicks and best time he could get was 14.1 down the 1/4mile He should have got mid to low 13s down the 1/4 mile.

Every one is asking for prices, why dont you post them up. What is there to hide.

Oh before I go, stop making excuses as to why the raptor s/c didnt perform. We all know why they ran bad times.

Oh ffs give it a break mate. All we ever hear from you it "raptor sucks". From what I can see they still have a little way to go to refine thier product, but then so do most companies these days. Why dont you spend all your time and money and build a supercharger that you can mass produce then we will be able to see who's better once and for all. Thought so.

Hey mate.

Curious... I'm putting an ecotec into a VN commodore... Therefore the tune you supply with this kit would be worthless, Is it possible to get the tune made up on the VN ecu for an ecotec... I'd be interested in the Stage1 Raptor kit for an Ecotec.

It will be in a VN with ECOTEC and:
TH700 stage 2 shift kit, billet 3rd/4th servo's.
3.7 LSD diff ratio (coming in few months)
YT 1:9:1 rockers
Lukey Extractors
I would change to twin 2.5" hi-flow system with this kit.

Approx Price?? For a kit made up, with a tune for a vn.... Or a price for a kit without a tune & I can get one made up.
