There are 2 things we want to alter before letting it go out into the wild. These things are happening but will another 2 weeks yet.
We can offer it with tune and without, which way would you like to go

Very Interested.
What exactly is in the kit,is the Haltech E6GM ECU fine for the tune setup,do you also provide an option for water injection + Intercoolers?
Cheers.![]()
* RVN 355 *
We include a MEMCAL with supercharger tune calibration, so essentially the Haltech isn't needed as such. Will save you a lot of $$$ and effort.
At present we aren't suppling water injection or intercooler option, BUT that doesn't mean you can do it as you want.
Our system will be at the more affordable end of the market allowing customers to have more budget to spend on coolers etc

Do you have any dyno results yet?
We are working through a small list of jobs that our tuner "Electronic Automotive" informed us about.
The 5.0 in stock form has crap valve springs, so we have just upgraded all the springs etc with CROW springs, retainers, colletts and new valve stem seals, the difference in performance is amazing at the top end, the valves actually seal properly now!
Second job is upgrade the suction to the supercharger, this is definitely holding the car back and is on the urgent list.
Final task is some extractors and upgrade the stock single 2.5" (yes it is that small) exhaust to something more suited to supercharged output.
Output with stock everything and buggered springs was 183 RWKW, you will find this is inline with most kits in the 7.5psi range, but that will change as we want 9psi at least!!
Standby for more burnouts![]()

Just realised that I haven't put a pic of it up here in a while, will update when polished 4" intake is fitted to blower, a week or 2 yet.

wrecking VL COMMODORE 5 speed
FOR SALE : supra 5 speed box suite holden v8 $800
Performance at present is equal to an Edited and piped LS1 in a ute, the VS V8 clubbly does have less power but car is lighter so performance is similar to LS1 with a few light mods. We are now aiming to have it outperform the LS1 comfortably, coming together steadily.
Raptor Superchargers - Boosting S1/S2 3800's, Ecotec's and Alloytec's
Well here it is, final version ready for anyone wanting a decently priced V8 5 liter blower kit
Power is
ProStreet - 255kw engine @5400 rpm (190kw wheels) with stock manifolds and original exhaust system. Boost is 7-8psi. $4400 without tune and $5200 with MEMCAL. RPM limit will be raised to 5700 for all kits.
ProStreet - with exhaust etc, expect 275kw
Fitting is DIY, should take half to three quarters of a day
No cutting/hole sawing of your car
Tuned MEMCAL means drive away and play
New injectors
No fuel pump upgrade required but original pump should be replaced with a new stock Holden item
Engine is still easily serviceable ..... things like getting to your sparkplugs etc is still same as normal even access to valve springs etc is easy without removing blower.
Strap the kit on, add whatever upgrades you like and power will continue to climb above our measured outputs
Enjoy

All good questions, there is no more test and tunes here for another month yet so def cannot report on that.
Haven't taken more vids at present but owner reports a good stoush with an 06 WRX STI up a steep range with overtaking lanes and they held their own against the little rocket no worries, concluded that the Charged clubby is going pretty ok!!

Looks awesome and thats some good power figures too. very interested in an intercooler set up. I've got a gilmer drive on my 304, would that pose a problem for set up?
how much to get it to melbourne? would it work with twin throttle bodies? prolly next month or 2 im lookin at gettin itanymore dyno results? 1/4 mile times

Freight to Melb is about $100 - $120
Dyno results, haven't done anymore, should tho because since the new valve springs went in and the blower intake size was increased the car feels to go pretty well.
Nothing on the quartermile scene, we would like to add extractors and full exhaust system before we tried. Our VS Clubby is totally stock and being held back a lot by the "stockness".
We are sending kit out for a 5.0 which has quite a few mods, will be interesting to see what it puts out.

That kit looks the goods. Just wondering if you could post a pic of the dyno chart and if possible a standard 5 litre for comparrison?
Thanks

Correct me if wrong but a stock 185i is about 105 - 110 RWKW anyone like to comment on that?

I will keep an eye out for some dyno figures from a 100% stocker, if anyone wants to contribute they are welcome, must be guaranteed 100% STOCK including exhaust system.

so how do we get one of these Superchargers, and whats the difference between yours and Vortech.
You are lucky indeed, we have a dedicated Raptor Agent in SA, Charged Automotive, I can forward his details later if you like, they can supply and fit the system.
Differences between the two products, well there are firstly differences in the blowers and then differences in the kits themselves which are actually more important.
Will refer to the respective superchargers as R (for Raptor brand) and V.
The V supercharger is capable of higher boost, it is designed to be so, it runs hotter and takes much more to drive, is very expensive should something fail. All in all the V supercharger is a good device, and so are other brands but there are differences of course.
The R supercharger runs coolest of all supercharger brands, is light weight, is very low cost at repair time, is lower cost to purchase (by comparison), needs no oil or oil lines, cannot leak oil, is best used up to 11psi and can be easily turned with a 6 rib belt with NO belt slip ever and often produces best kw/psi. Can also be easily polished to an amazing finish, the billett comes up like a mirror.
While I have knowledge of kits with V in them there is a lot I could not comment on, suffice to say belt slip has been a long term issue with them.
Raptor kits are absolutely belt slip free and come with auto tensioner for years on fun with no fiddling necessary to keep it all happening. Piping is polished alloy with ORING seal on intake and there is none of the big flexy rubber hose some use which is utterly unreliable in the long term.
The outcome/output for both systems mentioned depends heavily on the motor they are going onto, the 304 isn't the newest device and things like valve springs, exhaust headers, decent exhaust system, ignition system condition, camshaft etc will have a major effect making all the difference between average and awesome power output when a blower kit is fitted. There can be vast power differences between 2 seemingly identical 304s which is not a problem in newer engines like the ECOTEC V6 which are amazingly close no matter how many you test.
