    Default 5 Liter V8

We nearly have a daily discussion about this particular model of Holden engine. If the engine had been set up with serpentine belt we would have already done it, anyhow got to machine up a crank pulley and then we are well on our way.

Thanks for the incentive, I think the outputs we will acheive will be very respectable too, add some intercooling and there will be decent numbers.

What is preferred, full kit or partial or both?? I might run a poll on this and see what you would preferr

Am interested in this kit aswell. Wouldnt mind my ute to have some more go to keep up with those dam Gen3's

I'd say offer both... partial and full kits. Not everyone has the same budget.
Some people say less talk more action, i say more torque less traction.

    Default Pricing

At this stage the pricing is unsure, however we try offer the best power for the price. Probably something "around " $5.7k for a full kit (~270-300Kw)and for a bare bones with no fuelling or tune maybe $4.5k

The above contains a lot of "best guesses" but that is the target

With regards to a crank pulley, could you use one from a gilmer kit and get a toothed belt to suit?

    Airstrike

The suggestion is good but prefer serpentine, much kinder to the Supercharger, with Raptor we don't have belt slip problems as per other types of SC so the serpentine is best choice unless you want enhanced whining noises

also these superchargers would be able to have stronger pulleys and etc,to be ran at more PSi?and will you be ranging a intercooler system?or will that be a different 'custom' purchase

Once pricing is established I'd be very interested in knowing the cost.

No chance on this score, the engine would need to be around 7 liters capacity to avoid compressor surge, 8 liters would be better as the chargers would be operating pretty efficiently then.

One Raptor V is enough for nearly anything

Talking Design stage photos and quartermile times

We bet most people on this thread are wondering when they will actually "see" something ........ the time has come!

We have finally tested the stock car on the quartermile, and the beast made it down the 400m in a best time of 15.470 @ 89.01 mph. That was the best of several runs with all runs being in a .2 time envelope. Benchmarking done! See timeslip image below, car 23.
We have put some serious hours into getting the mock up stage behind us, and while it is still in that stage everything is now ready to transfer to CAD drawings then time to fire up the Laser cutter for some trick parts.

The thing which has been taking the time is addressing problems we know exist in competitive products and we see why it isn't easy, however we have persisted and now have a bracket which will never flex. Flexing brackets and the belt problems they bring and no fun for anyone. We are pleased to say the Raptor kit will have no issues in this area, should be long term reliable with low ongoing running costs.

In fitting the kit there will be a couple of things to move ie the cruise control actuator and ignition module, both only get move about 50mm and then are fastened down again.

Have a gander at the images, remember there is much to go but this gives a basic idea to those waiting to see what is going on.

Kit completion will be in 4 weeks and fully tuned figures will be available in 2nd week of December

Comment and questions welcome as always

also i have lpg on my vn 5ltr, would i still be abil to use it?
will the blower work with straight gas cars?
Stato on the inside, berlina on the out side,5ltr under the bonnet, stockies all round...........that thing has to be a sleeper
