Would you have any graphs or tables of the ignition timing curve that I could use as a reference? I want to have a go at tuning myself and a safe starting point would be handy! How much more advance does the intercooled VY tune have over the VT one? The stock advance in the upper RPM/full throttle range is about 16 degrees. What should I lower this to for an intercooled raptor VT ecotec?

All good questions, however I use the services of professional tuners who we contract to supply the tunes, I have absolutely no information at all on what the tunes look like - and no I am not trying to be secretive, I sincerely do not know. I have never seen the software in action at all

Just wondering what the black hose fittings on the Raptor chargers are for? Are they for liquid cooling? Do all Raptors come with the fittings? I have seen that they are not used on some cars (no hoses attached but fittings are there).

    gday mate,

I have my 1994 vr 3.8L and im pretty keen on gettin it charged ive recently heard about a s/c that is installed where the air con is in my engine and it uses the same belts or somthing im not to sure about it and was wondering if you knew too much about it cause i would prefer to keep it hidden being on my p plates and all,

But on a different note i was wondering if you guys have a kit for the vr engine and a price for a kit.

    cheers

theres no chance of hidding a blower on ur motor mate. dont even try. you will not get away with it. stick to the P platers rules theres a reason why they wont let u guys have a forced indution car.

that is correct, if that bendy hose breaks or cracks u will break the internall belt on the charger, happened to me twice, so all i did was use sum 19mm heater hose
