Raptor Superchargers - Boosting S1/S2 3800's, Ecotec's and Alloytec's
All Raptor Vs produced after the end of March 2011 will have capabilities for faster acceleration due to lighter internal components, this means less load on the internal belt when running high boost pulleys as the internia has been reduced. The weight reduction is in the order of 30%.

OK
View attachement - PM me your opinions - change of logo ...... at least for some situations
Your opinion is welcome even if its highly negative

You mate are a legend, your attitude impresses me no end
Well done and I sincerely thankyou for your input and taking a moment to graphically alter the logo. AWESOME.
Everything helps

Another new kit
This time for Subaru Liberty H6 3.0 liter. This gives the AWD limo some bite to match its handling abilities. Really looking forward to doing a few of these.
Watch out for Liberty's in the future, there could be the odd quick one around. The engines can quite easily rev past 8000rpm in stock form and with 7psi to help these things will be quick

A bit of FORD stuff here.
This is our stage 1 non intercooled Ford AU V8 - 5.0 liter kit
Gives this customer 393rwhp from his T5 5speed.
Gives a 12.91 @ 110mph
Customer has added a SNOW PERFORMANCE Water/Meth injection kit.
The thing is dead simple to fit, even I am impressed of this result from the AU
Well done I reckon

These Porsche 968 kits with a Raptor V and a few tricks added are making just shy of 250rwkw
Engine Capacity - 3.0 liter
Cylinders - 4
Boost - 6psi
These engines must breath like no other ...........photo (resized).jpg

Also of note
We now have Raptor V in the following models
Raptor V - Standard
Raptor V - L light weight internals
Raptor V - UL extremely light weight internals
Raptor V - WCL - Water cooled trans with light weight internals (silent transmission)
Raptor V - WCLV - Water cooled trans with light weight internals and vacuum assist trans (V =vacuum to lower air density in transmission so belt can engage pulleys at less operating temperature at super high speeds)

What sort of boost are you looking at on an ecotec with one of these?
A further opportunity has arisen to take the envelope a bit further
I cant answer your question just yet ...... the results could be interesting

It'll be interesting for sure!
A Mitsubishi Magna 3.5 liter with Raptor supercharger kit went 12.86 at Willowbank last night

Holden VR V6 @ 12.5 quartermile
Ford AU V8 @ 12.9 quartermile
Magna V6 @ 12.8 quartermile
I am quite certain the Holden and Ford times will fall quite a bit more in the next 12 months, the Magna time will probably hold for a long time, difficult car to launch for a good trap time.

Here we go
The SONATA with GDI 2.4 engine with Raptor supercharger and WTA system - 8psi
Video
Hyundai YF 2.4 GDI Supercharger - YouTube
I thought the power was pretty respectable for this
I might add that this major tuning center in Korea was using another brand of supercharger, some issues arose. Now they switch entirely to Raptor V, more low end response, more total power per psi has convinced them of the Raptor product
The Raptor disadvantage on cars like this is the charger needs to be a bit smaller - quite difficult to fit into and East West engine bay

Tim,
is there anyone in Germany working with these fine superchargers? The nearest dealer/shop/workshop/garage I was able to find up to now is in Eindhoven / Netherlands, Chargertech.nl.
Berndcf
We have no supporting shop in Germany at this time
For now there is Chargertech (NL), Prime Garage (KOR)
I am currently supporting German customers direct from Australia - Especially customers with the Subaru 6 cylinder vehicles
Which vehicle did you have in mind?

Wambo
Derrr to me.
There are a LOT of 968 Porsche's with the Raptor V head unit fitted, all kits are manufactured by 928 Motorsports USA
I can assist with the supercharger itself (supporting 968 owners from France, UK presently with supercharger upgrades), for all other bits you would need to contact Carl at 928 MS
This quote from a French customer who had his charger upgraded to the new lightweight specification
Let us know what you need and see how we can assistThe result is astornishing, may be even too much. The car has never been
that fast! On straight line I was nearly as fast as GT3 (415 hp). I was
obliged to turn the Fuel Managment Unit to the reacher side because where I
was at a 12 AFR value with the standard raptor, I was at 13 with the one you
retrofited (upgraded). So, there is a material difference!
My gazket finally broke at the end of the day, but it already showed some
weacknesses on the 2 previous races.
So now, we know we can go as fast as the fastest stock porshes the
manufacturer sells today (GT3 and turbos).
We just have to go to a better gasket and an aftermark ECU.
I let you know what happens next and will send you the promised photos

Raptor Superchargers - Boosting S1/S2 3800's, Ecotec's and Alloytec's
Please let me ask a maybe stupid question on the Raptor V: The direction in which the belt turns the pulley to drive the charger is always the same? I'm familiar with Carl's setup, but as my 968 CS has no air condition, I could have a setup with 3 pulleys only and a 6-rib pulley on the charger, but it would drive in the "wrong" direction.
Would you like to turn the charger around so the pulley faces the radiator? This is the normal way to set up the Raptor V
Or you can use a double sided belt and leave charger where it currently locates in the 968 kit by 928 M/S
Either way is possible

Here is a Raptor installation FAR from Australian soil
I sent a Supercharger kit for a Subaru Outback 3.0 H6 - all the way to BULGARIA!!
Here is his dyno run for the kit - making just over 201kw at all 4 wheels from the little 3 liter engine - 7.5psi
Customer is LOVING it. Imagine having something like this in Bulgaria - would be quick car for the local farmers![]()

We have a Raptor kit owner with a pic of his Porsche 968 circulating the famed German Motor Race Circuit the Nurburgring. This car was running the standard Raptor V but now runs the Raptor V L for improved performance.
