Well, the clutch pulley would pretty much do that for you. It is smaller than what you run now and will bring the boost in earlier and be higher by 5900

A few hiccups on the vehicle I will post results on, airflow meter scaling went off scale on this particular car. The scheme with Alloytecs is you get 4 or 5 the same and then the 6th one will just not tune up the same, always been the case and keeps the tuners busy sorting it.

Im from WA and been reading up on this thread as i have an aloytec sv6. What are the price of kits these days?
That real budget job I was telling you all about a few posts back
Retuned today with an Air to Air cooler - 275rwhp, 4 sp auto, stock manifolds, ultra free flow cats and reasonable exhaust. 8psi and 3.77 gears in diff.
It doesnt sound like the numbers we normally hear but the words from customer - he is totally over the moon with how it drives - it burns rubber completely for 2 gears and is completely satisfying him. His total all up cost is under $5k. They bought only the charger and bracket new, used injectors and injector plugs from a wrecker, cheap ATA cooler 600 x 400, few bits and pieces plus a tune.

Any pics of this kit? Sounds like it turned out very well for him
175kw V6 Alloytec, 4-speed auto, Raptor Supercharger (8psi), 600 x 300 x 76mm air to air front mount intercooler (2.5" inlet/outlet), Walbro 500 hp fuel pump, Bosch 42lb injectors, Mace manifold insulators, K&N pod filter, Drift oil catch can, standard headers, single 2.5" Hurricane cat-back exhaust system ('high-flowed' cats..), B&M stage 2 shift kit, LSD 3.70:1 final drive, VCM tune.
The red run on the dyno sheet was non-intercooled (80 degree intake temps and fuel cut issues), the blue run is intercooled.

Everything was fitted by Gerritt at Mad Skills Motorsports Samford (0417 197 146).
Looking at fitting aftermarket extractors and cats, then upgrading to the 12 psi pulley and getting a re-tune. Also think a transcooler wouldn't be a bad idea..
Cheers,
Chris

nicely done, that 3.7:1 ratio definately cuts the speed down a lot, its almost like my 2nd gear lol. keen to see what it goes like down the 1/4. keep us posted
Cheers Tim, thought I'd better join the party..
Are you able to tell me the diameters of the different sized pulleys (i.e. 8psi Xmm, 10psi Xmm 12psi Xmm etc.)?

The pulley you have is 61mm and gives 10 - 11psi at the charger, you have to measure it immediately after the charger, that will tell you how good/bad your intercooler and pipework is and save us giving you a pulley which will simply root the charger without helping boost too much
