The vehicle is currently being tuned with VCM suite, I think your other options will be better since its the other side of AU, the Haltech also supports fly by wire throttle now.

So the Haltec will be ok to use with a charger, its real hard to get any info on these, no one that I know of has used one on a Alloytec yet, hard to know what it can and cant do, I may just end up getting a charger and mounting bracket from you and making my own kit up
I have another mob that are devaloping a kit for these but I dont know how good there vortex charger is, yours looks pretty sweat, I gather you wont have problems sending via courier to WA, I have bought those horrible CRS Kits in from Melbourne already, no issues there (apart from they suck badly)
I will PM you my work eMail
Cheers

Got your PM, will respond soon. I think you will have seen enough evidence on JC and elsewhere that we do the good thing, looking forward to working with you.

Well the VZ has rolled out the door of MSA in Brissy and been in customers hands all week so far. An issue with intercooler flow really cut the boost down, this has to be rectified so normal boost pressures can be realised. Boost should be about 8psi on the pulley suppled but is showing just 4 psi at present. A test revealed the intercooler to be very restrictive. 4psi = 170rwkw up from 130rwkw stock. 1 psi = 10rwkw!
Anyhow, soon we will add another 4- 6psi of cooled boost and crank out some real numbers
AND AND AND we now hold a VCM tune for supercharging Alloytec engines!!! And they are SUPER RARE! And yes we do sell this tune to whoever wants it, will save someone at least 10hrs of solid work.
More info coming soon

Have you thought about using water injection instead of a intercooler, I was thinking of using a snow system or somthing, would be a good move considering the price of fuel these days and the low octane quality of todays fuels as well
It would elimenate flow restrictions, octane levels, detenation problems, instilation size....
Food for thought

Snow Performance
KFK
That is highly recommended even tho most people don't like the idea, heaps cheaper and makes the same power in nearly every instance.
Snow Performance water/meth injection kits are awesome

Have you had any issues or believe there may be any issues with the auto in the 190?
I know they are at there (or close too) maximum torque rating and thought that this would cause some damage quite quickly in the 5 speed if it is not up to the task.
I would love to look at doing this in the future but the gearbox may pose an issue.

If you up th output of the motor, then shorten the final drive ratio to 3.7 or 3.9 that will take up some of the extra stress on transmission, basicly reducing load on the output side of the auto, if you leave the 2.79 ratio in it would probably stress the auto a little, also the rating is probably a conservative rating and is probably 25 to 50% under what it can really handle

Transmission strength comment
There have been quite a few of these supercharged by people other than us, only issues I am aware of at this point in time is the clutch on the manual needs an upgrade, no other reports that I have heard of.

Well our Alloytec is now back up to 9psi pressure, intercooler tank design changed and flowing awesomely
Tuning could not be fully completed today as time ran out but next week should show some numbers Yeah thats what we are talking about bigger numbers
Through Matt we are aiming to have a shop really dedicated to Alloytec performance with a simple drive in drive out service for a GREAT price.
Current special for 1 month is any VZ Alloytec or WM statesman V6 drive in drive out - 200rwkw Raptor ProStreet kit fitted and tuned for a crazy price of $5500. No hidden costs, thats the FULL DEAL.
There is no cheaper deal or better service available for the Alloytec in Australia!

So how did the tuning go? What sort of numbers did you pull?

A timely question there
Today provided another round of tuning updates, unfortunately it appears that the air flow meter is providing a restriction, this seems quite unlikely to me but it has been measured that is the story, we have 9psi before it and 4 psi after it! So we are investigating why this is so, on the Black ute we did originally we got 9psi with the AFM in a draw through configuration but for some spastic reason it gets pressure drop when set up for blow through.
There is MUCH more to come yet in conquering this issue as we have plenty of upstream boost to make use of if we can get it into the manifold.

have you guys tested it on a 5spd auto VZ SV6 yet?
just checking the specs, the 5spd is designed to handle up to 340nm of torque and the alloytec pumps out 340nm of torque!
might be something to warn customers of if they are putting it on a stock 5spd.
