Hey mate, my kit is for sale if you're seriously interested. It has been completely rebuilt by Tim (Raptorsc) and still under warranty.
It's still in my VR Calais at the moment, intercooled, custom tune etc. I'm happy to answer any further questions you may have. I hardly drive the car so looking to sell it.
Question for Tim, is the warranty transferable to who ever buys it off me?
Obviously I'm not tim but I don't see why the warrantee would not be transferable as the charger is going to be spinning just the same on one car as on another.
My Vs " Liberator 1" =)
Side note : A V8 doesn't kill, the ######## driver who cant handle one does
LOL!
$6k + postage & handling. I won't go lower 'cause I reckon that's a really good price.
Includes
1. Charger kit - injectors, iridium spark plugs, cooling fan for the charger, 2-bar map sensor etc. Charger was completely overhauled late last year, has done minimal kays and only one visit at the drags last October/November.
2. Intercooling kit - polished 2.5" light weight stainless piping, 600x300 cooler, twin 32mm bovs. Part of pipe near extractors is ceramic coated. All clamps and connectors on there now. Was professionally fitted.
3. Chiptorque tune - This cost me around $1500 alone. The tune should work fine, but if it does need minor tweaking then its cheap as. Instead of $1,000 up front for the tune, then dyno time to customise it to the car.
4. Free Extras - Boost gauge, spare cooling fan for charger, spare brand new serpentine belt, Wahlboro fuel pump, spare 9psi pulley. I've only just had the fuel pump fitted (also new). That's over $400 worth there. The pulley on there now is 12psi.
Sale Condition:
I'll take everything off once a deposit ($1,000) is paid, have it packed, weighed and postage price determined, then send it once full payment is recieved.
The same kit on 'redvs2' ran 13.4 and is hunting 12's.
I ran 13.8 at that last drag meet with stock 18" rims, street tyres, full tank of fuel - basically full street trim. I fitted the wahlboro fuel pump to chase low 13's.
Dynoed at 185rwkw @10psi before fuel pump.
how come your selling mate?

Hey Immo, how are you mate, long time...
Two reasons;
1) Since Jan 2010, we have had 3 cars at home. My parents left their car here permanently so that when they visit from interstate, they don't have problems with getting around and affecting us by using our car. And it is free for us to use while they are not here. So the VR hardly needs to get out and yet, it hogs a space in the garage!
2) I have been busy renovating the home whenever I could during the last 18mths. The kitchen is falling apart and nothing will make my mrs. more happy than a new kitchen. It is a big ticket item so this money will help out very very much. And you may agree, if the mrs is happy, then everyone is happy, haha. We have owned the VR since 97/98, we got it when we started the family and since 2007, I've been modding it with the approach of no expenses spared. Yet, she has never been on my back about it, never asked how much for what ever I had bolted on or replaced etc. (except the odd derogative jab at me and it, whenever the mates are around, haha).
She's been great and I would gladly honour her, by being willing to sell the car itself after the charger to go towards the bathrooms... but not just yet, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it, I still like to keep it for the time being. The bathrooms are crap but I keep telling her as long as water flows and drains, everything is as it should be, lol.
LOL mate, i get that.
i was fortunate, when we bought our place the kitchen was basically brand newjust need to paint the outside

oh i see...maybe i should sell up now and chase the V8 power?
.:Blown VT V6, DAJ37:.
Nah mate, I won't be chasing anything else at all. Gonna put all the money into the house. If I do sell the vr down the track, I wouldn't mind something small and economical to use for work and save up for a while.
