hahha not as yet mate, went away for a few days.

I think I will go and speak to them when I buy my car.

The reason I was asking for an approx price, so I could decide on whether I get the SS or the SV6 and then boost the power up.

I think I will go the slow SV6, and then work on it once I get it.

here are some more pics for those wanting more
    the engine bay...

my new cooler - obviously you can see the air con bottle that will be moved to centralise the cooler...

check out the polished charger sitting in the engine bay!!

and a few taken while cruising on the Gold Coast - check out the cooler...

the car is still a dream to drive, its amazing how many ppl see the cooler and just stop to listen.....p platers love to have a crack too, hahahahaha

and for those wondering about fuel consumption...
here is a snapshot of hwy cruising.....

hows 5.3L/100kph sound....this isnt seen very often, and obviously isnt the avg over the whole tank.... my avg over the whole tank is less than 11L/100 which is still fantastic considering the extra power on tap when you want it

i hear ppl have been asking about track times too....

the car will be going to willowbank but wont be till after summer... running a boosted car in 34deg+ temps obviously isnt the best for the timslip.

the car has been twice down the 1/4... if i remember correctly both runs were 13.9's - not impressive but the auto box changing gears is the issue...as in it wont change at the precise time while at WOT, lol - even using the active select and predicting when it will change doesnt help...

these is also the 4th gear power issue....change into 4th gear when all other gears have been WOT and there is a power restriction....but on a private rd 4th will pull all the way no worries at all.....so thinking anti abuse???

and when changing into 3rd gear while doing a burnout cuts all power aswell....hmmm

however how does 1.99 60ft time sound...

none of my runs are exactly "set up" correctly, just rock up and race, lol

Impulse, nice ride mate. A few weeks back i bought a 05 Calais VZ. I'm not that 'happy' with the original Alloytech. Do you or anyone know who to speak to in Canberra in supercharging my calais?

    Raptor?

Ring Matt Stocker Automotive, doesn't matter where you are in Australia he can organise to bring your VZ up to standard with a Raptor Supercharger kit

The number is 07 3800 3709 and you should have a good conversation with Matt no problem

Let me know how it goes

If you get in touch with Tim or Matt Stocker they will be able to help.
Matts contact details are available on the Raptor website.
    Raptor Superchargers

Matt Stocker Produces the kit and supplies the tune.

you will need someone to load the tune for you...your best bet would be to contact a recomended local tuner (link - http://www.vcm-suite.com.au/outlets.html)they would be able to load and tweak the tune as necessary for optimum performance on your car.

Anyway, i sent them an email about my car and Tim replied to let me know that Matt is the best person to talk to about it. So I should hear from Matt soon. Will let you guys know.

    hey...

you mention your still waiting for someone who does aftermarket tunes for our ecu i think,

you thought of grabbing an aftermarket? :

    VT/VZ
E6GMX suggested for direct fit applications fitted and tuned from $1700 Driveaway.

    Regards,

    Ryan.

diff doesnt need touching unless you want to change the diff gears... stock if fine.

the clutch will need a HD version installed, Matt Stocker will be able to hook you up... i understand Matt has an Manual in the shop atm so give him a call.

Well we have another VZ with a charger kit coming up, in the next couple of weeks in Townsville. The customer has had a Raptor charged VN for years and just bought a VZ, the charger is in for a service and then goes back with new bracket and a couple of other goodies for the VZ 175 auto.
