some high ratio rockers should set u back 700 and give u an extra 15-20kw and a cold air intake would help alot too

you want Yella Terra rockers. stay away from FIT stuff, it's used and re-manufactured

this should be in the VY section, this area is dedicated to Tim @ Raptor and his wonderful products

Go to the beginning of the Raptor Superchargers VY project car, its a thread just down the list abit, it started out going up the ladder NA then over to SC.

Check it out. All the popular NA mods were fitted and power gains reported on together with 1/4mile times.

Actually the comment about brakes isn't so far away from the truth, VY exec,s and probably all the other 6cyl VY variants have tragic brakes if you start to push the car a little bit.

i can tell ya whatt i got for pretty good gains in my VT. yyella terra rockers r a good fit. go with sumthing not on the menu for cold airs. A growler in take from SS inductions is good but for real power make your own pick a pod you like rip the top of your airbox off and find a good way to attatch it usually silicone pipe an adaptor and a pod adaptor pipe. for 2 grand you can have a heyday but i agree with vlv8vic immortal and raptorsc the brakes on the last VY i drove were abit dodge look at that first then go for go fast mods no need to go fast if you cant stop aye?

dunno if it helped but yeah thought you might need another opinion :P

The breaks are shocking in the ss so I'd hate to have to pull up quick in a 6 then!

I wouldn't have a problem buying brakes of ebay. Just make sure they are a well known and respected brand ie. pbr, harrop, hoppers stoppers, ap racing, dba etc etc. Thats gives you a mix of brands with prices going from mild to wild.

Originally got a set of the slotted rotors from ebay but ended up not putting them on the car. Another good friend had bought them just before me and after only a couple of days was getting bad shudder when braking. Turns out the rotor material is too soft and they warp real fast.

I highly recommend the DBA Slotted rotors and Bendix ultimate pads for the front at least, this will improve your braking out of sight (and not shudder).
