yeh it was way easier for piping wise, but where i put my coil pack i had to lengthen all the wires and i had to do the same for maf and air temp and tps wiring, so that bit was a pain in the arse.

yeah, get the TB done for sure, if you have access to a die grinder also sort out the mouth of the plenum where the TB bolts on.

the short shifter is worth the effort but if you want that price you'll have to be quick and get one from the guy on ebay

just get some super6 coils, do the same job and i think they are cheaper.

small pulley, small pulley, small pulley, small pulley, small pulley, small pulley, small pulley, small pulley, small pulley, small pulley, small pulley, small pulley, small pulley, small pulley,

wait with the tune untill you done all the other engine/blower mods

yeah, bolt the TB on no probs. lets just put it in perspective, you have a complete 3" intake tract from the Blower to the TB, but the TB is only 64mm (and the ecotec has that horrible bump so really it's closer to 60mm) where as the rest of the intake is aprox 73mm internal. thats gotta be a restriction of some sort

pull the TB off the intake and have a look up the flange, it narrows a bit, got a really horrible ridge running around it from the moulding etc. i think with a 12mm spacer from MACE it would open it up better. i think MACE recommend the 24mm spacer with a blower but i'm not sure if Tim agrees with that. may need to ask Tim and/or Steve about it.

i've got to do the intake manifold gaskets on the missus VS as it's using a little coolant. while i have the manifold off i intend to take the die grinder to it. may also clean up the area where the 2 halves meet and get rid of a few ridges and port match etc. fitted new injectors today and the MACE spacer/insulator and it's already running better even without giving the ECU time to sort itself out. nex couple days i'm gonna give it quick tune with better shift points

i have a manifold insulator but i hav heard that the plenum spacers have made no difference at all on the raptor blown cars? it would be good if u could take a few pics of the vs when u platy with it.

    black as
yeh im changing my intake setup and just running a short 4" silicone hose strit from the blower and mounting the filter behind the supercharger in the back corner, then making a box and using some flwi hose like u say for some colder air.

yeah mate. i'm hoping to pull it off next week. damn sure i'll take pics when i take the grinder to it. once it's off and i've had a good look at it i'll decide if the 12mm spacer is required to clear the TB area properly.

noticed a pressure leak in the trans coolant line today, trans is slipping a little so gotta sort that first before i fry the band and clutch packs

Its been a while since you had the kit fitted, have you had it dynoed or the tuned tickled yet? I know from experience that going by the seat of the pants feel isn't going to cut it with knowing the AFR (fuel mixtures). I know that you can get memcals/chips that go directly into computer, but nothing beats a dyno run for final tickling.

Nice build up and some neat looking pics. Well done.

yeh i will be very kee to see the pics which throttle body would u recommend? i see mace do them and there is some on ebay and i think in street coms magazine there in a brand called alligator or sumfin?

    holdenonn
i havnt had it dynod at all yet and im thinkin i will wait till i get the TB and pulley and intake now, no one in tasmania has kalmaker or and appliances to tune a vy v6, so im gunna wait till i can afford TB and pulley then get a dyno run for $200 then send chiptorque the dyno results and they tidy it up for me for $250
