9 more spammers captured overnight I think it was, luckily getting them but only a matter of time. Need to complete an upgrade to get more benefits of Cloudflare but the testing that goes with that is rather insane not to mention document what was done throughout the upgrade in test - all this...

From memory this was more to do with Javascript in a browser, I can't remember exactly what the triggers were but do recall reading something about it certainly nothing to worry about. Could have even been to do with Google Analytics updates.

Just digging further, looks like some groups had been set to '0', upped this to '5' for standard users and unlimited for Donating members. See how that goes.

As a matter of interest for some in the last 24 hours 7,580 attempts have been made to hit the site. All in all, fairly lucky with those pesky buggers that do manage to scrape on through for a few moments of glory.

These spammers just don't give up, many thanks to those who have reached out directly to get these removed. As a result have increased the 'difficulty' to the maximum level so see whether that slows them down for a bit.

Hi All We have recently noticed a number of legit accounts having been hijacked by spammers and posting unwanted content on the site, some not visited the site nor posted previously so some of these accounts are many years old. I dare say this is due to poor complexity or should I say passwords...

Not performed any upgrades or changes in recent months, might be one coming up over the Christmas break. Can only imagine this being isolated to the usual culprit of cache or cookies perhaps. Have done a google search and not really finding anything of great interest to even attempt to help out.

Happy to oblige, thinking tags within VY / VZ section and how-to section would maybe best the easiest solution? For seasoned members shouldn't be a difficult task to locate these. The alternative of course being sub sections perhaps which may or may not work.

Logged in using my PC now, both Edge and Chrome appear to behave as they should from what I can tell.

Went through and I believe have disabled standard users from doing this. I think it comes down to people can't read, elect not to read or just plain old lazy. Receive daily 5+ emails asking for help despite indicating on the contact us form requests for help saying it will be ignored. Same...

Should now be an option to disable the chat, either through a toggle switch or in chat settings.

Looked through but can't seem to see where this option is selected. Have escalated it to the developer as perhaps I've been looking at the screen for too long today but can't spot the option to close it, will have a look in the coming days as have received a few emails about this as well.

What does seem rather odd even looking at the new version no way of 'attaching' images in a signature either so yeh definitely a feature :p

Not entirely sure on the size typically MB rather than MP but with that said where were you attempting to upload it? New thread, existing thread, avatar etc? Is through a physically desktop / laptop or through a mobile device?

Use the contact form ensuring to add something that identifies you as the account owner ie DOB.

Looks as though this might be in a upcoming release of XF, a few revisions behind at present but at the same time hasn't been anything overwhelming to give a reason to upgrade. From memory it was going to be a bit of a pain but I'll try and revisit it.
