Ok so today i was replacing my main charge cable. Srarted the car with no drama but then i realised i forgot to tighten the nut behind the alternator.then this happened.car got on fire while tightening the nut. I shorted with spanner.fuel rail got leaked.now did i F up the ecu? How bad it is...

sticky side can be attached any side i believe. you just need to align the pin hole with the gasket. when i did mine i attached sticky side to the housing. put a very thin layer of blue stuff on the other side of the gasket. torque it down. maybe 21nm not sure though. just dont over tight it...

for future reference, my problem got fixed. I called the thread doctor, he came to my home, got the bolt out, fixed the thread in less then 15 minutes for only 80 bucks. He is just a magic. If anyone needs him you can find him in white pages. I am happy. :)

If VS cluster as same as VR i have got a spare cluster for 94 VR. you can have mine for free :p. u just need to pick up. im from west.

i hope not you damaged the trans.what you can do is take out some extra fluid by disconnecting trans cooling line and start the for 5sec and stop.and keep doing this until you have correct level. then see how you go. before going for a replacement its worth trying that.MAYBE it gets better. oh...

first of i would say check ur trans fluid level and condition.
