Tasmaniak can you amp the front and sub and leave the 6*9 running off the headunit. And wont be playing with enclosures and x overs cos im new to this.

Yeah good point tasmaniak never thought of it like that. If they were only $20 to 50 more expensive i would still by from a shop. But when its 100 more and the service was **** no way.

If you have 6*9 speakers, is it not worth getting a sub?. From what ive read here people tend to say get a sub not 6*9s. Does it matter if you have both?

Is it pointless having got the 6*9 now that ive decided to get a sub. Thats what a mate has told me. Will it matter if i have both will.it sound better or worse

What makes me think there overpriced, look in a car audio shop then look on ebay and the price difference is sometimes half if not a little bit less than half.

Hey ive bought a kenwood dpx-u6120 headunit, alpine spr-60c and spr-69 for the rears. Im wondering what sort of amp (if needed) i should get. Is there a noticeable difference using the speakers off an amp. Any suggestions would be good.

Came up really good what buff and polish did you use? Did you take your front antenna out for the rear one?

I debadged my rear lumina badge yesterday arvo. I got the black **** off now you can see the outline where it used to be. Any ideas of how to get rid of it? When i removed the badge i used fishing line picked the glue off then tried cut n polish and metho mixed with water which didnt work.

Ive put em on dude, cost 370 but was totally worth it you have to get it done. What kind of headunit and speakers did you get? Ive still have the stock one and cant believe how piss weak it is. Another thing is your air con pretty good cos mines pretty avg, thinking it might need to be regassed...

Thanks for your reply i had to go to holden anyway so i asked about the coolant and ended up getting it since it was $20 for a litre. It was for a vz. he gave me the brand acdelco Dex cool extended life (red)antifreeze coolant.

Just wanting to know who uses the coolant from a holden dealer and if not what kind of coolant they use.

Just with the ones like that not all of em. The ones like that probably steal or damage cars cos there jealous or something.
