I'm in Sydney on the northern beaches, i wouldnt mind getting an OTRCAI, but i guess whichever of the tunes is cheaper would be the one id go for, i dont really want to fork out big bucks for a tune!

Ive got a Vy ss myself and it has plenty of power and torque that you want. Admittedly the 5.0L sounds better but your not going to buy a car just for the sound of it because you will get over it eventually. My mate has a VT 5.0L and driving that compared to my car there is a huge difference...

Just put your foot on the brake and stall it up. Or you could probably change your diff ratio but thats around the $1000 mark.

How much did it set you back? Let me know what sort of difference you feel in the gear changes and notchiness after you get it in. Cheers

Ive got a vy ss and the transmission is really notchy in and out of gears, im looking into getting a rip shifter from what ive heard they are quite good to get rid of the notchyness and make 2nd to 3rd alot easier. Does anyone have one on their the ss m6? any replies appreciated Thanx

Yep ive got the same noise, just an irritating whine while you move the wheel around at low speed. Ive got a VY SS II, ive noticed fluid level going down a bit as well. I need to take it to holden to get it fixed

I'm getting my diff ratio changed to a 3.9 tomorrow in my vy ss and im just wondering will the speedo need to be re-calibrated? Would i need to get it done straight away because if it says im going 60 i could be going faster? Cheers

Hey ive got a VY SS, ive just recently put an exhaust on my car twin 2.5inch cat back. But its not loud enough, ive heard removing the middle muffler gives a much better sound than removing the rear one. Anyone had this done? Thanx

Will do thanx for all the replies just got the car today its a beauty aye. Nice red, with the vy ss 18's on it. I'm probably also going to get the SS inductions growler kit as well so it can breathe better after i get the exhaust then probably a tune and maybe some 3.9 diff gears a little later on.

It has a few dents, most cant be seen unless you look hard to find them with the right amount of light, the back body kit was just re-painted recently by insurance from someone putting a huge scratch on it. The wheels are in good condition only 2 of them have small scratches. Its got a pioneer...

The plastic on the airbox is unbelievably tough regardless of the thickness. I managed to use my navy seal knife to get a good hole going though!

Is that with shocks as well though or is that just springs and labour? I got my vx lowered a few weeks ago, just springs and labour cost me 470 and thats with king springs.

I used a bread knife with some thin cloth wrapped around it, like a sheet to pry then used eucalyptus oil to remove the glue.
