Please excuse my ignorance and lack of research aka laziness, but how exactly does the computer know what the speed limit is? Can it see the signs or does it know from maps+gps or what? Just interested is all.

I should have said the height of the cup was different then. Assuming its on top maybe it sits too proud of the strut tower for the retaining plate to be bolted down properly.

The only other thing i could think of was if the spring hats were on the wrong side of the car. Not sure if that could cause your problem though. The hole in them is offset slightly. It should be inboard.

Thats what i do. Easy to bypass but only you know where you cut the wires to what and where the switch is. Cheap too.
