my 2 cents. i put a pod on 3 days, all nicely hooked up and ever since ive done this ive experienced a sort of shuddering problem as the revs pick up. this only happens wen the engine is warm, its fine when its cold... has any1 else experienced this?? im thinkin maybe the pod is sucking in hot...

i got told that Nolathane was the worst of the bunch. i was advised to get a 4 point K MAC so thats wot i did. its made the wheels pretty straight but still not perfect. u can hardly tell tho from side on. cost me $350

mmmmmm we took a walky limo. soooo sweeeet. had a huge sound system in it. typically we made the driver crank the system and put the windows down.... well the perth locals werent 2 impressed.

clean the ole throttle body. cleaner costs like 10 bucks from supercheap. expect sum darker coloured air escaping your exhaust pipe...

could possibly be that ur front structs/shockies are worn out. my vs got the shakes at bout 110 but since i got the front shocks done its smooth as.

hmmmm i just paid ian diffen a whole month's wages in one day!! 400 to get lowered on superlows, 380 for a camber kit (stupid IRS!!!!) and another 450 for front and rear shockies... looks awsome tho. sits exactly 10cm at lowest point under car (cat converter)

dont listen to that redbook rubbish. my 96 calais got valuated and is worth $13,000 according to my insurance company with only mags and stereo as mods. without that the car is worth $10,000. yet redbook wants to tell me my car is only worth 6-8k!!! id love to see a calais with 110km only worth 6-8!

i just lowered my calais on superlows (looks awsome) wit 17 vx ss mags but the guys at ian diffen told me NOT 2 get a camber kit... do i absolutely need 1?? and also i didnt change the shockies...is this a bad thing??need help b4 i wreck things!!!

dude i have the EXACT same problem. my calais tends to heat up right to the half way point when im sitting in traffic then drops to a quarter when i start going again. you might wanna check for a leak...

a mate wants to sell me his fe2 springs off a vt. if i get them would i still need to bother about camber and all that gear....??

oh really. how much are we talking for the camber kit? if i got 17's instead would i still need the cam kit?

i heard a story that i shouldnt lower my 96 calais bcos of the IRS...a mate did it and his tyres wore out (camber wear) and he reckons getting a camber kit installed doesnt even help! im putting on some 18's and i dont want my car to look like a 4wd!! any help??? :shutup:

de badging im sure this question has been asked and answered already but i just bought a vs calais S1 and i wanna get rid of the tacky badges. ive had mates tell me that wen they took off the badges it left holes in the bodywork :S how do i know if this is gonna happen?
