Thanks Matt What I am seeming to notice just by photos is the 2006 Thunder had the "silver" calipers and the 2007 Thunder had the C6 calipers. Maybe the last year of the Thunders, like the Z 's had all the parts loaded onto them. I appreciate your input.

It is minimal. Front are a bit bigger in Diameter 290mm std vs 320mm Thunder and the rears are same diameter just are vented discs.

I have been looking to buy a VZ SS Thunder after mine got written off a week after I got it! Mine Jan 07 had the larger brakes front and vented disc rear. Was this an option as I have seen a few Thunders with standard brakes for sale? Thankyou

Hi, I have a VZ that has just started running rough when first started and goes away after a short drive. I just changed the fuel filter and same problem. I though I would rev it up in N and P and it will only go to 4000rpm. Thanks in advance

Hi Trevor. I remover door switch and it was corroded. Put in vinegar for a few hours and replaced. It is working fine now. Thankyou for your help.

I have a VY SS ute and my head unit (and previous head unit) will turn off when I open door with key removed but only sometimes. Can anyone shed light on this please?

Thankyou. You are 100% correct. A used trailing arm or indeed a used cradle may not even fix. I will be going option A and just see how it goes.

The suspension tech said he wasn't happy with the out come, sighting possible collision. I am no expert but the way I read the printout, the toe is perfect but camber is out. I guess my question is it too far out? Thanks.

I had my ute wheel aligned today and they couldn't get the rear camber/toe correct even with a camber kit installed. My only guess is a previous accident. Is there anything I should check before spending time and money on another rear cradle? Thanks in advance.

Awesome thankyou. I watched the video you posted and bought the same brand paint at Bunnings and cost $20 total, paint and the iso cleaner. Thankyou for your help.

I tried this method and even got the same Clear at Bunnings. Came up great after first spraying then rubbing back orange peel then applying a second coat.

I am thinking about clear coating them. What type of clear would you suggest? What about a plastic adhesion promoter? My biggest fear is melting the plastic throw a bad reaction. Cheers for your input.

I couldn't agree more. Not made to last, just cheaper to make and will need replacing.

I am trying to separate my VY SS S1 tailshaft for a centre bearing fix and the splines will no pull apart. Are there serviceable and non serviceable tailshafts and how do I tell them apart? Thankyou
