No they weren't fitted with vehicles with Brembo brakes but were designed to fit. I was going to get a couple as spares for my cars but ended up with a full set of MY15 Redline rims.

The 19 inch wheel type shown above will fit over the Brembo brakes. They were designed to work with the bigger brakes for both SSV (MY16) and Calais V. The SS in MY17 also had these wheels.

You can remove the rear seat dome lamp and have a look through the hole to see if it is still connected.

Why do you say that? It is still using the temp sender at the front of the car. I've noticed Holden cars were lot more accurate than most other vehicle manufactures.

Usually it is the accelerator pedal you pump 3-4 times to reset while in ignition mode.

Lucky I have HUD as it displays the temp on my windscreen.

The sub frame would probably only have surface rust. Easy to rub off and spray some black paint over it.

You can hold down the phone button the steering wheel for more than 4 seconds to activate siri too. The issue with the car play is when it first reads out the message the car does not pick up the bluetooth audio until usually when you touch re-read message which is a pain. Also no audio...

I have noticed this too on recirculate. Also the sun sensor can determine if you are inside a tunnel and switch the ac on and recirculate even tho the lights are not on both options.

I tried to watch a media file but because I have a series two and no AUX, there is no sound from the media file playing to Mylink. I actually prefer the bluetooth for the phone as I can still use my USB music I have through the USB port without having to switch the sound for the phone to AUX...

Without a phone there is no point having carplay/android auto as the module doesn't really do anything without it

I saw the fix they did to my Calais V back then I thought is was very brutal as the original seat hold down did not attach to the leather trims.

I just realized the plugs for the V8 don't get changed until 150K kms. The VB6 is at 120k kms. I can feel the difference with new plugs in my car. It seems to be more responsive low down. I think now both cars feel the same as I always thought my Director had a little more kick.

Should it use bluetooth audio from the carplay unit or from the mylink?

Looks like they didn't tighten exhaust flange tight enough. Watch out it hasn't taken the paint off the bumper.

I just changed my plugs at 120k Kms on the SS and now it idles a bit smoother. The plugs didn't look too bad once out. Is your engine V6 or V8?

Another question if I may ask, are you able to post the instruction manual for the install? I assume all that happens with this unit is the Wiring assembly that goes from Radio to touch screen loops through this additional unit that runs the Apple Car play.

I only use one key and the other key is a fair distance from the garage. The random song used to drive me crazy in the Calais V. The SS only appears to happen sometimes when I open the boot first with the remote instead of opening the drivers door first.
