my vx is about the same, but think yourself lucky because theres vx's running out of fuel with the fuel gauge showing 1/2 a tank. this is a holden fault but they refuse to pay for a recall to fix it.

does anyone know if the dampeners they put on the tailshaft are what cause the big power loss between the engine and rear wheels on the vt-vx v6. And if it is, is there a replacement?

I agree with the above the vx is fine on gas. The only thing is I got the proper vx factory fitted gas system with a 75litre tank for $2540. I dont know if there a price difference between states or not but I'm in SA.

How bout when the brake pads actually grow in size between services. or having factory fitted gas system and them not knowing how too change the mixtures.

It was checked by holdens and sensors came back as working.

Has anyone heard of putting heat bandage on extractors to take heat away from from sensors. The sensors have been tested and are good, but engine light comes on and off while driving.The mechanic at Holdens told me, "it could be the silastic they used burning off" or "the sensors are getting hot"

Iam thinking of fitting extractors with a high flow cat and 2.5inch sports system to my VX V6A COMMODORE. Just wondering if there is any benefit in performance with this? Alot of websites say there isn't! Does anyone have any dyno charts to say different?

Your brake rotors may be wearing too thin, I had same problem with my vk. replaced rotors and pads then everything went a ok.
