nobody has any guides or anything? I'm guessing I need 2.5" projector lenses?

I've got SSV headlights with one set of projector lamps but want to install a second set for quad projectors. Is there a guide or anything that'll help me? I think I need 2.5" lenses but not sure what else. Thanks :) Reference image:

Unsoldered the chip to make sure it was still alright and found out the actual chip had died... Wasn't reading at all. Must have had a voltage surge through it or something.

No I didn't but I did solder the resistors on to mimic it on the single zone.

Installed a Calais headunit into my Omega Series 1. Radio and CD, reversing sensors, and rear demister work fine. However, all the front air vents don't work like the front demister and air con. I have programed the headunit successfully but when I try to read the HVAC 93C66WP EEPROM it shows...

Exact same thing happened to mine. Put in Pedders SportsRyder shocks with SSL and SuperPro Urethane tops/bearings. Even tried changing washers, taking it out, putting it back it, and nothing seems to work. It also has a lot of road noise now, probably from the cap sitting up and hitting the frame.

Going to try Sikaflex on the metal trim and see how that goes.

I need some help installing the catch can in my Series 1 Omega. If someone could draw coloured lines in photoshop or paint or something? Also, where is the best place to mount it? Will be installing an OTR very soon when the parts arrive.

I'll check my O2 sensors :( Could it be incorrect spacing on my spark plugs or something? I set the space slightly shorter than the ones I pulled out. Also, I got quoted $600 for a remote tune from OzTrack. Didn't MACE used to do it for like $400 or something?

I thought manifold insulators were meant to improve fuel consumption? :( Don't think it'd be the O2 sensors since I put brand new ones in when I put in the new exhaust. I was thinking it would be because of the extra pipe with the new exhaust?

Even freeway/highway driving has gone up though, just steadily sitting at around 100km/hr. I have a scan tool I keep in the car so I could check that.

It's just that after installing the exhaust it seems to be using way more fuel, as in ~4L/100km more... Even replaced the spark plugs and coils.

Wondering where I can get my VE Series 1 Omega tuned (4spd Auto). It has 12mm manifold insulators, quad tip dual exhaust, and an Orssom OTR intake. I have a USB-OBD cable so remote tune is also an option. Heard MACE has stopped tuning the Alloyecs?

Are you still doing VE Alloytec tunes? I have a quad tip exhaust, 12mm manifold insulators, and just about to put in an Orssom OTR. Would like a tune as it's using a heap more fuel now...

You get a full set of manifold bolts and glue from MACE when you buy the manifold insulators. If you just want the bolts I'm sure they'd sell them to you but it's probably worth getting the insulators as well.

Reckon I'll give it a go. Done a bit of soldering in the past including soldering new switches on mechanical keyboards, etc. The leds are around 3mm square, but I figure if I mess it up I could always just go to the wreckers and get a new dash.

Already got the LEDs for it so I'll probably do it myself (100 blue and 100 white). Don't like paying people to do stuff for me and some of the LEDs needed replacing anyway since they'd gone out.

Yeah that's it Wanted to do blue or white. Really don't want red or green. I don't mind the green I just don't like having things stock XD But I'm not a fan of red. Neither on cars or inside them.

This is the part I was talking about, but I assume it's just the same as changing the cluster screen too?

Tried searching for a how to but couldn't find any. I'm wanting to get the center console trim stuff for my Omega but don't like the red backlighting. Is there any way of changing it to white or light blue? I'm not talking about the cluster, just the screen.

Also, what's the difference between the V8 and V6 OTR intakes? Why wouldn't a V8 OTR fit on a V6? I've seen quite a few V8 intakes for sale but almost none for the V6.

Hmm, I did think about the filter aspect. I was planning on getting an Orssom OTR, just wondering about the cheaper ones.

Seen a few cheap OTR cold air intakes on eBay. Has anyone tried these and are they any good? They're around half the price of Orssom and VCM, etc. Example: Holden VE OTR Intake SV6 V6 Commodore VE V6 Performance AIR Intake System | eBay

If you google the error codes there should be heaps of info on it. If it's misfiring maybe change the spark coils? I'm doing my coils and plugs this week as well as changing O2 sensors as they were extremely black when I checked them last. Here is the page for your error...

Second look way better imo. I would personally get them in 19" because 18" is usually stock, and 20" is usually too firm. You also need to consider the width of the rim and offset and see how much tyres cost for that size rim. This is a fantastic website for tyre size and comparing you old...

Hahah ok ok, I won't do it XD I thought the Senator skirts were similar to the omega ones just a bit wider? Already made a custom front grille and have FE2 shocks and lowered Aurora springs. Haven't put the new suspension on yet. Also trying to find some rims, possibly BBS LM reps.

Would HSV side skirts fit on an Omega wagon? I want to keep the stock rear and front bumper but wanted to change the skirts to give it a lower appearance. Opinions?

Hmm, so they require cutting and welding the cats :/ that sounds like a pain... I have a welder and angle grinder so I may do it if I can get them much cheaper. Probably won't bother with them. Just keep saving for an SSV ;)
